I am a man, I have driven for 34 years and have been an HGV driver. All my observations over that time lead me to believe that women are, in general, better drivers than men. Accident statistics bear this out too, and that is why women can often get lower insurance premiums.
That doesn’t mean that there aren’t some bad women drivers. If I were to generalise, bad driving by women tends to be through carelessness or confusion, bad driving by men is more likely to be through reckless risk-taking and impatience.

Men and women drive differently. Most men have accidents on bends, most women have accidents. :lol:

Women on the average stick to the rules, only one thing as they get older they get slower, get behind two old dears chatting away to each other at a steady 25 mph on a narrow road. :roll:
There are certain types of driver that are almost guaranteed to have or cause accidents.
Probably the worst type is your typical self-opinionated Mancunian yob. All foul mouth and no education. Always ready and willing to scream obscenities at other road users, particularly whilst driving when they are drunk.
Inevitably they are highly critical of other drivers (particularly women drivers) which usually indicates that their own skill level (like their personal hygiene) is sadly lacking.
Young men drive too fast, therefore they have accidents on bends and the damage is high.
Women have more accidents, the damage is lower. :wink:what an ar se licker

Most categories of driver are condemned by someone or other as the worst drivers – old people, women, young people, truck drivers, taxi drivers, white van man, motorcyclists etc. etc. all come in for some flack.
Actually petrolhead car enthusiasts tend to be the worst drivers. To them spinning the wheels, fast cornering, tailgating and split second overtaking etc. constitute ‘good driving’ while, to them, going slow or being careful is for wimps!
