The liberal MSM and establishment is again bombarding us with misinformation on a daily basis regarding this issue (like most issues). They use inflamatory language like “hardliners” (like hard brexit etc) to paint a false picture and present themselves as moderate, when in fact the reverse is true.

Spot on. Speaking from the U.S perspective, the liberal-biased MSM here have been on a non-stop hate campaign since 2016. They still cannot accept that the chosen one was not elected president. You’re right too about the use of inflammatory language…all intended to portray others as extreme, and to foment “outrage” against them.
I looked up MSM on google, and all I got was methylsulphonylmethane.

So i looked it up on the ever (un)reliable wikipedia, and found a large number of meanings. I’m assuming that ge meant the mainstream meida?/ not sure what elese it could mean, but if it means something else, I’m sure he’ll correct me.

There’s fox news in the USA, run by Murdoch, the Dirty Digger, but hardly liberal. In Britain I can think of The Guardian and the FT as liberal papers. maybe The Independent (never read it), or possibly the Mirror.
But mainstream media. What of the Mail? The Sun? The Torygraph??The Times (run by Murdoch).
Right-wing bigots always condemned the BBC, whihc was certainly liberal in its heyday. But the world has changed, and the BBC has changed with it.Nobody who saw the Panorama programme on anti-semitism in the Labour party could mistake that for liberal bias?? Or could they?
The Far Right are out of their kennels now and a Trump party is building in Europe. The hatred of liberalism in the real MSM (noted above) is intense, and matteo Salvini in Italy, Victor Orban in Hungary, could soon be joined by the UK.
