Good to know that Cleared’s view that there is no poverty in the US is being considered seriously and uncritically by our resident analyst.
I am not like you. I have made no comment at all on this thread regarding my views on poverty or abject poverty in regards to Trumps economic record, whereas you have as if it somehow supports your views and that it is somehow the “truth”. That’s not how critical thinking and objective analysis works…
The problem with you is that you blag people who have no interest in economics (or knowledge) with what appears at first glance to be an accurate statement but which is actually false and misleading when you scratch beneath the surface. If I spent any length of time doing it, as I have previously stated, I would never stop typing…
For example:
Trumponomics has seen record levels of employment among other things, though our experience in the UK of a lot of insecure and poorly-paid jobs is that this blessing comes with a sting in the tail. However, this increase in employment is something that has been happening i the UK and much of the world. It started before Trump – under Obama. More people got new jobs in the last 29 months of the Obama Presidency than the first 29 months of the Trump presidency.
You are oblivious that Trump is/has created ‘real’ jobs in the manufacturing sector which Obamas regime didn’t achieve (and claimed was nigh on impossible) and while Trump is also cutting jobs in the public sector of which Obama massively increased and that realignment (and an important adjustment of the American economy) totally bypasses your radar. You are also comparing it to the UK when in fact it is like comparing chalk and cheese. Ironically if an election is called sometime later this year and Corbyn wins, his plans for the British economy and the manufacturing sector have more in common with Trump than the Democrats in America.
Back under your bridge, troll.

22 July, 2019 at 3:42 pm #1117864He is way to daft to see hes been repeating himself for the last 3 years.

22 July, 2019 at 3:50 pm #1117865Thank you for links all.. I reviewed them.
Just would like to make a small comment which will assume label me something for sure but true.
History reflects America built on foundations of many cultures, races so forth. I have always said on boards that we united, embraced and moved forward in time.
Obama health care FORCED ALL to have medical coverage. If not ALL were given a fine. 300 for single. 600 for family. Problem is many hospitals, Doctors and medical providers declined forcing people to seek under plan..this extremely difficult. His system had many flaws and many of us screwed medically because our costs sky rocketed. Not enough plan providers. Those with prior medical conditions were screwed as rejected services.
Education..wanted to help all minorities to get jobs. See word applied. Help reduce cost of education so not unemployed. This helped greatly. However companies were offered higher incentives breaks in hiring blacks, Spanish, Asian, whom also given more pay. So many who had degrees, life time experience and skills watched newbies who came in make much more money as they spoke and wrote second language but had no skills or experience.
I will find stats some where as read them that in the next 20 years or so the the black and spanish population will be taking over the population of the Americas.
As far as Omar and some others mentioned here..I make no comment as CLEARED doing us Americans real proud.. Thank you Cleared2.
Funny thing stats better than news reporting, however numbers are numbers. Cause and roots are research that explain reasoning for them. Those are why when I do research..
Change in times hard for us all.
Trump recognizes expensive for companies and manufacturers and salary personnel to run efficiently. Incentives provided to stay in own Country, not move out to another. THIS helps all American people. Jobs. Growth, so forth. Stonger economy ties up those loose ends which eventually lead to less unemployment, and you all know the rest.

Sorry, is this a reference to the Congresswoman born in Somalia, but living in the US since the age of 12??
Well, Linda, if that is the point then it’s time to use your political skills for a movement to amend the Constitution, which has set down strict qualifications of naturalisation and age for a variety of public offices since ratification in 1788.
Good luck.
22 July, 2019 at 6:42 pm #1117870As for the otehr two,
welcome to the World of Far Right wacky woo.
From Ge posting meaningless links of massive economic data without any point, or thinking that Trump’s economic policies are similar to Corbyn’s, to Milky’s persistently asking me where I was asking directions to back in the autumn of 1973, or questioning me about Carolina
this springs to mind….
22 July, 2019 at 7:25 pm #1117872Lol. The “far right” insults again when actually the mad old bat is right wing himself. It will do what it always does and has done for the past 10 years, wind all his board mates up pointlessly, then grovel, and creep and beg forgiveness as he types “I respect you” repeatedly. Rinse repeat. Thankfully I am not one of them nor will I ever be.
Get back under your bridge, troll.
