22 June, 2012 at 4:11 pm #499634Cute puddy cat, tinks!
I’ve just welcomed the 6th cat. He’s getting on a bit but he’s cool. He’s only been with me just over a week but he found the cat flap and now comes and go as he pleases. I was panicking when he got out so I went looking for him in the early hours thinking he wouldn’t come back. But he did, I was so relieved.
Think my other cats are in awe of him. He’s not into hissing or fighting. Food, sleep, stroll. Food, sleep, stroll. He’s like the Kofi Anan of the cat world. :P

Ha! I used to know a woman who had 22 cats…. she was forever coming to me with kittens asking if I knew anyone who would give it a home. Threee were my limit Im afraid Penny Tuppy and Toby…. I only have Tuppy now as the other two died. Toby was 21 so she lived a very long life and although Tuppy is now 15 she still seems kitten like to me and gorgeous. I often wonder how Eddie is… remember him Gaz used to feed him…. hope he is OK.
23 June, 2012 at 10:56 am #499640Don’t think I could do 22. We had just the one cat for about 4 years although she was Mr Pandas and about 19 at the time.
Then in 2007 it went mad. We got a rescue kitten, then Mr Panda’s tenant left leaving his two cats behind. Then we took in another stray kitten.
In 2009 I took in an injured cat and paid to have his leg amputated.
Then the old cat died aged 25.
Then the 6th arrived last week.
Any more and I’ll need a bigger house.
23 June, 2012 at 11:39 am #499641I got Penny and Tuppy because a tenant left them Panda, how anyone can do that is beyond me. They were only kittens…. they were so hungry they were digging for worms to eat. For ages after I took them in they used to bring me a daily worm :D scrumptious :D
