20 July, 2008 at 2:23 pm #355828As a child, when my grandfather died, I saw his face clearly at the exact moment he passed, although we were 400 miles apart, and I wasn’t even particularly close to him in life.
And at a remote highland farmhouse again as a child, I was followed up a deserted track by a man who passed by my family without being seen, before eventually vanishing. The farm outbuildings had been the scene of a murder half a century previously, where a young girl was killed by her father. I dunno, maybe the spectre was a particularly wily poacher, but it scared the bejeezuz out of me.
There were other episodes of seeing things and having predictive dreams, from childhood until now.
Last time in hospital (yes I’m mentioning it again Fasty  )When I was having seizures, I thought my mum was there with me, although she died 8 months ago. In all probability it was a hallucination, and my desperate longing to see her again, as the grief has been unbearable at times.
You can imagine my horror, when I came round, weeks later to discover for the second time, that my mum was dead.
I hope she comes to me soon, but I haven’t seen my father in the 19 years since he died, so I’m not holding my breath.20 July, 2008 at 2:58 pm #35582920 July, 2008 at 3:46 pm #355830@~Pebbles~ wrote:
heres another thing….i knew someone who died last year, a few days before she died as she lay ill in hospital, she told someone that she could see a black figure standing at the foot of her bed. I’ve been reading about other people’s experiences of this on the net, and it seems it was probably the angel of death who apparantly appears when you are close to dying to take you to the other side
Any similar stories / experiences?
When I was coming round from an operation once I was in agony and wanted to die, there were nurses all round me trying to old my legs down, and in all honesty I just wanted to pass away quickly, but they kept waking me up. I heard a voice sayin “sharon, dont, its not time yet”, but I never recognised it as being anyone inparticular, but it stood out from all the nurses voices I could hear in the background. So, I listened to it, and made myself wake up, and listen to the nurses who were trying to help me.
Dunno if it was a voice from my past, or the other side, but I do know it was very significant at that moment in time, and I thank them, whoever it was!

22 July, 2008 at 7:37 pm #355833Evening all :P
im sure most people have heard of colin fry….i was looking up some of his shows on youtube, and although i saw a couple, ive got to say, its not very convincing is it??
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-RRBrfK5V4
Its all a bit vague if you ask me, theres never any specific details.
Im soooo curious about seeing a medium (as youve probably guessed, as i keep harping on about it!) but, is it really worth it? are they going to tell me anything worthwhile, or is it just going to be generalisation?
Has anyone been given really specific details ie names etc that blew them away ?(and no, im not expecting people to give precise details on here after the cu.nt who lurks spoiled it for everyone)
Ta.
