or if you’re with your family, or partner
i know when ever i meet new people, new friends, i kind of hold back the real me
and as people may think, i am tottaly different in life then i am on here, beleive it or not, i am very well liked in the real world :)
I find that as well soulie, when i’m with people i dont know very well i am more shy and lack confidence, or i feel as if i dont ‘fit’ in, when i’m with my family and ‘real’ friends i act like myself, which is more confident and I dont have to worry about looking stupid. When I am on here (JustChat) I am very opinionated.
Strange isn’t it.Please don’t start posts Geoffrey can’t participate in…………he’s never met anyone :wink: :D :D :D

Yes, i think that too. Your friends see a side of you that your family probably don’t, and vice versa.
There are some people “Outside of JC” who would be shocked, if they could see my posts on the boards, as they seem to think that i’m quite shy and quiet! They actually think i’m quite sweet, so lets hope they don’t ever come onto Justchat! :lol:
I find that is the case with many people(Not all) Think it’s a confidance thing, afew years back when i suffered with a bout of depression really knocked me sideways that did, don’t think I’ve been able to mix as well since, find it really hard to be myself with a group of strangers, one on one i’m okay with though, like to think most peole find me funny and likeable. thats the impression i get anyway.
i’m better looking in real life too 8)
very true though ant, if my mates came online i reckon they would be shocked.. though gaz does come online and sees my posts, we ever hardly ever talking about just chat, i think its one thing to talk about your outside life on just that, but to talk about just chat in your outside life, is another

you know they love us at the pool hall mate, i’m the same as you though, or was.. but as you know, i’ve made a massive effort in meeting new people this year, and its done me good
i just think its more a case of not having a chance to meet new people though, having 4 kids does’nt give you much time to mingle, maybe you could write back to vivian, and see if we can get an invite to one of her candlelight partys :)

I know that certain family members have seen my posts on the boards, and one inparticular, because of something they said, which was to do with a certain subject relating to the boards!
I find i can be quite open to most of my family, and friends both on, and off-line, and Taking things the dirty way, i’m like that on and off the boards!
if my mum read what i wrote, she would have a heart attack
