Yep right funny old bugger he is. I like him though, in a Batty kind of way. Notice me flapping away behind the pumpkin? The other one is my brother.
25 October, 2008 at 6:31 pm #384544Only half an hour to go now. I,m gonna get all my munchies ready and sit and watch for spooky goings on on the webcams. Then I shall sit and watch the show. I,d love to go on a Most Haunted Live. Especially the one where they went to Corvan Castle in Transylvania, home of Vlad the Impaler. I,d have a wicked time. I,d have met my foreign nocturnal cousins too. Mind you I wouldn,t have understood their Bat language, seeing as they squeak in Romanian.
25 October, 2008 at 8:00 pm #384545Halloween is quite a big deal here in Ireland.. and has been for centuries, what with the influence of the whole Samhain gig etc..
Brought to America by Irish immigrants.. As ever, they grabbed hold of it.. repackaged it and sold it right back to us

26 October, 2008 at 1:42 pm #384549Halloween here in Wales is like having a night on the town.. Hubble, Bubble, toil and trouble..
Did get a bit out of hand last year i might add..
Had a knock on the door..
“Gimme some money, or we’ll do ew house and car over.” Old Mr. Jones had the same problem, “Where are the police when you need them?” He asked… But that’s the thing, it was the police! :mrgreen:28 October, 2008 at 2:51 pm #384550Well that’s the 3rd night I’ve managed to stay awake. They conducted this strange experiment using a Telsa electrical machine. It was werid. There were these great bursts of electricity. A bit like you see on the old horror movies, if you know what I mean. The idea was that it would charge the atmosphere with electricity and create the ideal circumstances for the evil witches to appear. I must say I didn,t spot any flying around on their broomsticks though.
Roll on night 4 tonight. I shall be watching the webcams at about 8 pm for an hour, then it,s Bat and her munchies in front of the box until midnight. What bliss.
You wanna watch it just to see the clothes that their resident historian Leslie Smith wears. The other night I swear her skirt was so short you could see all the way to Australia! She’s a bit ermm, “past it” for wearing skirts that short. miaow.
