I wonder if a father cries , when his son tells him he is gay ?

I remember my cousin telling his family that he was gay. His big burly working class father threw him out, disowned him, and we were never to mention him again. Did he cry? I don’t know, I wasn’t there. But he did cry when his son came home many years later and told his family he was dying of Aids, that he had weeks to live and he’d come home to say goodbye. My uncle wept like a baby, not just because his son was dying but for all the lost years.

When the same uncle’s grandson came out and said he was gay, his mother told the family and said she didn’t give a toss what everyone thought, he was her son and as long as he was happy, she was happy. Lessons had been learned the hard way, and everyone supported him.

To disown your child because they are gay is sad for all concerned. To use a childs sexuality to have a dig at the parent is low and cheap. Enough said.

Ahhh right ! … but to suggest my hubby uses a i quote- ” a p iss pot “, and god knows what else is ok then is it ? To generally put me down, and slag me off everytime i post , is ok ?

One rule for one …

And just for the record .,. i don’t give a toffee , who thinks it was cheap- if he can’t take it… he shouldn’t dish it out in the first place.

    Enough said !

No it’s not ok, none of it is ok in my personal opinion, but maybe I’m in the minority cos numbers viewing and people replying seems to soar whenever any of this crap is going on. Maybe I’m on the wrong site for me.

Again i seem to see it differently to most, but maybe that’s because i post without bias.

Annette has took a lot of stick this weekend of a few people, some jumping on the bandwagon for no apparent reason and her private life brought up, yet when she fights fire with fire she gets moaned at.

If i was in her situation and knew what she does i would be shouting it from the roof tops a long time ago, and so she should.

    All over her garden bench…

Thankyou! To have some one see where i am coming from on this , and actually have the balls to say it,in the open, makes a nice change.

Why? if he’s come out as a homo it’s not like he’s a kid. Is it any worse than using a disabled husband? I think not.

Not a single complaint against the posts directed at her the other day and now she finally gives some back people pipe up.

Do women like men who cry… good question.

It seems a lifetime ago now but does anyone remember Paul Gascoigne when he cried at the 1990 semi final England versus Germany?… certainly didnt do gazza any harm at the time. This morning I watched a Libyan man in London talking about his country… he was fighting back tears…. I felt like weeping with him…. nothing wrong with a man crying in the right circumstances. :P

Annette did you read this bit?

It is not, in my opinion, ok for ANYONE to spout bile at ANYONE. No-one deserves it, no-one. However viewing figures do go up, so the majority must enjoy it and I must be in the minority. So be it.

Yet you , once again Jen… decide that when i hit a nerve , and go for the throat at the pathetic bully called Thin Ice .. feel the need to point out that i am out of order for doing so ……. and i repeat …. say Nothing to him , when he constantly spouts his bile towards me?

    Speaks volumes to me .

As i said.. One rule for one …..
