Well I dont know, and it’s not the ‘race’ were talking about, its the religious beliefs that these fanatics want to impose on everyone, and that intrinsically isn’t right. We live in a free country, if they don’t like our free country, which allows women to wear what they please not what theyre told, then go to a country where they feel they can tell women what to do, wear, think etc etc etc
Lets hope the original poster can clarify my point. I believe it is the word of God and the prophet that prescribes the dress codes, perhaps you can enquire from a female Muslim in full dress who decides her dress code. I think you will be surprised at the answer.

ive seen programs about muslim women etc dress codes gazlan and ive heard what they say about the burka..quite frankly i think they are brainwashed to say these things..and if the burka is such a highly regarded respectable piece of clothing why are terrorists wearing it to escape their fate in this country….seems to me these terrorists spout the koran left right and centre but blatently abuse it when it suits!
This is was and always will be a christian country .. we are talking fanatics here not even the norm for muslims
As for the Burka the majority of british women muslims dont want to wear it and probably dont, though i’d imagine they want the choice. There will still be some who dont have the choice for fear of violence just as there are probably christian women who dont have the choice due to overly possessive male partnersthere are indian muslims and there are english muslims…whats your point gazlan?

As you are aware, their are many Muslims both black, white and of all races, your comment struck me as odd in that you would be classified a Muslim because of your skin colour. I will never be ashamed of my colour regardless.
Curiosity killed the cat Mrs Kent, what on earth my religious conviction has to do with anything is irrelevant. I agree, any loss of innocent life is disgraceful and, i believe the Muslim belief is that to take the life of one, is equal to taking the life of all humanity likewise, to save the life of one, is equal to the saving of all humanity….I stand corrected should i have mis-quoted here.
like i said Gazlan i was just curious…stop being so defensive….as for my quote……i think you know as well as i do that you do not look at a white or black person initially and think they are muslim….i am not ashamed of who i am where i come from my background or indeed to say on here i am indian…but the atrocities of the last few years have had profound affects of people from all walks of life…….i was merley giving an opinion as another human being…if you are muslim which i suspect you are and i dont have a problem with that….then you of all people would understand that statement and the depth of where it came from…
remember the poignant picture of the sikh on the underground wearing that t-shirt?The fact that hypocrites have a part in ALL walks of life, does not detract from the original concept in the holy books. It has always been the case that people will exagerate and manipulate scriptures of all denominations, again, i say it does not detract from the original concept intended…i will never claim to be a Muslim, simply because i drink alchohol and create music, both forbiden in Islam. I know many who do, while subscribing to both the above, they claim to be Muslim but simply put, they are not.
so you are muslim but refuse to admit you are muslim because you drink etc?
I’m sikh but i cut my hair but im still sikh and accepted by my religion…sheeshMrs Kent, i am neither a hypocrite or a Muslim. I have no shame in stating this.
