However, the bottom line is that you never stop loving your children no matter what the circumstances were of their conception.
If only that were true of all parents…..
Was I planned? Only in that it was the expectation of the time in our area and background that you got married and had kids, I don’t think that planning really went beyond that. My parents had been married for two years before I came on the scene, so I guess they’d been practising for a while!
They had seperated by my first birthday though, then a tangled story unfolded that I keep on being told should be in a book, so maybe I’ll save that for another day!
But I can quite honestly say that some parents do stop loving their children (assuming they loved them in the first place), and sometimes step-parents can love you more than your natural parents. And I guess that takes me back to the “people who inspire” thread…….

*hides behind pete* :lol:25 October, 2008 at 10:00 pm #384909Gosh. The trauma of having to take a couple of days to motor down to the south of France and back. I bet there’ll even be an ‘accidental’ Matt Munro ceedee in the changer. Children are such terrors.
I think that, in our corner of the world and since the sixties, most children have been planned – even if only subconsciously. If you don’t want anklebiters, how hard is it to be on the pill if there’s a spot of shgging in the offing?
25 October, 2008 at 10:02 pm #384910I’m not sure what shgging is. I’m just saying.
25 October, 2008 at 11:49 pm #384911Well I was on the pill when I caught for the twinsm they was an accident, was totally unprepared for them, just 19 and the “father” fooked off when he found out I was pregnant. I coped.
I was 27 when I had Linky, she was planned ish.
I felt I had more time to enjoy her than I did the Twins. I was older and wiser too. Everything was so rushed and busy with the Twins. I never got the time to enjoy being a mom when I had them young like I did the young un. Wish things had been different
