noise sheep makes and minty sweets
I love christmas and i have finished all my prezzie shopping now :) xxx
I finished mine ages ago… i aint buying any :lol:
I finished pretty much most o mine, got few bits n pieces left to get.
Thing is thou,,,it gets madder by the day now. I left work last night to get as far as the roundabout, which is around 100 yds from where I work, the queue of traffic heading towards Tesco was un-believable!! Was right at that point I changed my mind about going in there. People too,,,,,,,soooooooo bad tempered 8-[ the season of goodwill? yea right :roll: :lol:
I will do the Tesco or Asda run, whichever I can be bothered with, but after last nights fiasco, and almost having both sides of my car rammed in by others less patient, think i’ll do it in the middle of the night, when I can’t sleep, definately sounds like a much better idea to me :lol: :lol: :lol:
Personally I can’t wait till January 30th, thats when my christmas will be, cos i’ll be flying off to Spain to spend a week with my brother, not seen him now in almost a year and I miss him :( So roll on christmas,,,,,,sooner it’s been n gone, sooner i’m away.

The rest of the staff and myself were going to put some decorations in the shop, nothing major, little tree in the window, few lights, that kinda thing.
We mentioned this to our DM, who told us in no un-certain terms, that we weren’t allowed to do this, as it isn’t ”The Thresher Way”!! :roll: :roll:
We decided then,,,,,,to get a few bags of humbugs out the pound shop, were going to string them all together and hang em from the ceiling :roll: :roll: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :mrgreen:
I actually love xmas or at least i did until TV companies decided no more specials unless it’s cheap to make “reality” shyte, we’ll just re hash some old stuff from xmas’s past, and supermarkets decided xmas starts at the end of August and that January sales start Boxing Day now where you might find stuff you’ve bought xmas is now cheaper and anyway we want to wring every f*cking penny out of you. It’s forced down your throat and you cant escape every turn.
By the time xmas comes around i’m sick of it bit like Merry Xmas by Slade, brilliant xmas song but sick of hearing it. If i was Prime Minister there’d be no xmas advertising till 1st December, no hight street lights (thats a joke too used to be lit up like daylight now you get 2 different coloured bulbs every 50 yds)Oh and whats up with xmas carols, kids knock on the door first then sing

Xmas number ones ? when was the last time the word christmas was included in a xmas number one ? and this yrs number one ? well conveniently x factor finishes just right to rake in the money for whoever has signed up (Simon Cowell) the winning artist (and lets face it they wont be around next yr to rake it in.Im nearly finished. Just got my parents, his aunty and uncle, my sister, his dad and thats it. But vouchers for his dad, money for my sister and parents and they are done. His aunt and uncle???????
I agree with you though Pete about the shops doing their cr@p, I hate seeing all the christmas stuff in the shops during the summer holidays. Folks have had their deca’s up since beginning of Nov in my street alone!!!! I am no Bah humbug person, I love Christmas, I really do. But I like my christmas in December where it should be!
Exactly Dawny, by the time it comes along they’ve sucked the magic out of it for me and i know it sounds like just another in my day tale but it was different back then
