One thing puzzles me about all this conspiracy stuff.
If the entire WTC thing was a conspiracy….. if the US administration knew in advance …. it was Thermite that brought down WTC 1, 2, and others…….. if it wasn’t an aeroplane that impacted into the Pentagon but was in fact a secret US rocket…. and so on and so forth – so what???
Let’s just assume that the conspiracy theorists are all totally and utterly correct – so what?
What difference is it going to make to anything assuming that all these wondrous conspiracies are right???
25 September, 2006 at 12:14 pm #241734WTC7 wasn’t imploded by explosives, it collapsed due to fire and other structural damage caused by falling debris. The owner of the WTC didn’t say the building was imploded he said the FDNY decided to pull their operation which is what the FDNY say themselves. None of the conspiracies surrounding september 11 are credible, they’ve all been discredited by experts. People who choose to believe them are just ignoring the overwhelming amount of evidence that contradicts the conspiracy theories. It’s completely irrational just like those daft people who believe in haunted houses and communicating with the spirit world.

Why aren’t all the people who make them up locked away in lunatic asylums??

He said they decided to “pull it”. As far as I know that’s slang for bringing the buliding down?
To be fair Ive never said that the US Government planned and executed it. Only that they knew it was coming and didnt know anything about it. I believe the evidence for them knowing and not doing anything about it is irrefutable.25 September, 2006 at 4:14 pm #241737@tommy wrote:

Nope.
I made a thread asking other people’s opinions on the matter based on a website I came accross.
 You argued repeatedly that they were faked Tom.

Let’s just accept that you are totally correct BM and that the US Government knew all about it and did nothing.
So what???
What is to happen now???
25 September, 2006 at 5:28 pm #241740Bush and his Government standing trial for blatent incompotence, and lying. Failing to act on numerous intellegence sources? Also covering up facts to cover their ineptitude. Using the events to launch illegal aggressive Wars?
Hell Bill Clinton was impeched for a frigging BlowJob.25 September, 2006 at 5:35 pm #241741The same argument could be for used for any everyday Criminal.
The arguement that’s usually given in those cases is justice for the victims and their families.25 September, 2006 at 10:48 pm #241742@Bad Manners wrote:

Hell Bill Clinton was impeched for a frigging BlowJob.Er… was Bill ”that woman did NOT give me a BJ” Clinton really ”impeched’? My recollection is that he got a severe bollocking, but that was all.
As for George Bush and the entire US Government standing trial. Yeah right … that’s really going to happen isn’t it?
Apart from any other considerations (like what precise law did they break and so on), it would mean the Federal Government prosecuting itself and if found guilty, locking itself up in its own Federal Penitentiary.
