We all remmber last years london Marathon, it was nice to see people on this site su cking up to Martin, the site owner and giving a day’s beer money.
But we all know that Martin did very little running and a lot of “brisk” walking…………
Can someone who can’t see do it better? Surely not………..?
15 April, 2008 at 8:35 pm #326208Oh I shouldnt laugh but the title of this thread made me chuckle
Good on blind dave 8) Was he the one who completed lots of different ones as well as the london one this year? If it is the same chap he was being interviewed on tv and wasnt even panting at the end.
Wonder why Martin didnt do it this year…. its not like he’s really busy on here is it…
15 April, 2008 at 8:39 pm #326209Well “blind” Dave only took 5 hours 20 mins, I can’t remmber Martins time………( it was over 6 hours)

Who gives a shyte? I find it outrageous that they hold the marathon and prevent me from driving along some roads because some idiots got nothing better to do than run on a sunday on the public highway.
I’ve already written to the DVLA asking for a part refund of my Road Fund Licence.
On top of that I have send a half empty tub of Flora margerine back to the makers advising them that I’ll boycott them from now on. That will, hopefully, teach them a lesson for sponsoring such a rediculous event but refusing to send some money towards the rent of a hall for my annual Shaggathon.16 April, 2008 at 5:21 pm #326211Wasn’t it seven marathons in seven days on seven continents?
Amazing stuff 8)

Yes, the cam puts on inches and, as you, my dear, commented, three hands would have room to move and do the job in hand or whereever.
And to your observation regarding the state of my hands, well, I always try and take care not just of me but also of my hands and keep those nails nicely shaped and clean. I just can’t stand fingernails that are dirty and/or chewed, that’s so council estate like. -
