Friend ?  Obviously not a ‘friend’ therefore any information shouldn’t be trusted …..

To be fair though, some people really are so naive that they don’t realize what any spreader of gossip actual motive, is. They genuinely believe that the information they are purposely fed, is all accurate and ‘bona fide’ and then they immediately jump up and down in their little red wellies clapping their hands excitedly like a little seal. Then they look down and it slowly dawns on them that the puddle they just jumped in is higher than their little red wellies.
