I heard on the radio today that the long awaited film The Da Vinci Code is causing some concerns within the Christian and Jewish religions. They have asked all their followers to boycott the film because it defames cheeses. This has confused me somewhat, as I wasn’t aware that these faiths were so concerned about cheese. I haven’t read the book so I can’t really comment, but I just wondered which cheeses have been defamed. Is it all cheeses or just certain types? I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s those soft French brie types or those smelly ones with the veins through them (I hate them myself). It couldn’t possibly be Wensleydale could it? After all the good work Wallace & Gromit put in, biggin’ them up.
Please enlighten me as it’s driving me crackers.
