Mainstream telly very rarely has decent bands on but….. wait for it….next week on Jonathan Ross the mighty MUSE are playing and then, on Jools Holland the DRESDEN DOLLS are performing.
I cant wait, they are both fantastic and it’s not very often the Dolls are live on telly – they are out of this world, have seen them live several times and they never fail to blow my mind!
There really arent any decent music programmes on – the satellite music channels are ok, but swamped by adverts which do my head in.
I think I might campaign for better music on tv – anyone wanna sign a petition??? 8)

when the do eventually play some music…its crap….
there are never any good “real” bands on tv any more.

Someone who agrees! Hiya Jen, i’m just fed up with having absolutely NO decent music programmes on. Like I said before, I have the satellite channels, and whilst you do get decent stuff on there the adverts do my head in – every other song is an advert!
Bloody hell, I think Im getting old and grumpy! :shock:

we have 15 music channels….and NOT ONE OF THEM HAS ANY GOOD SONG ON :evil:
they only play crap. people that cant sing ..and got there music contract in a bloddy lucky bag. :evil: :evil: :evil:
none of them can sing to save there life….and the songs are just crap….they all sing about the same thing. :roll: :roll: :twisted:

get a radio? the DAB ones allow you to access hundreds of stations, with varied types of music
if its the problem of the bands not being on television all the time think of it from the bands point of view!
the minute a band appear n tv they get accused of selling out to the big media machine
buy a cd go to a gig or get a radio

I do all of the above frequently, and my DAB radio is great! Just now and again I would like to chill in the comfort of my own home and watch decent music.
