Don’t get me wrong, Im not a vegetarian, (although I was for about 15 years) I do eat meat now and then, but my point was that horses are not just there to be either eaten or raced to death, animals can provide companionship and love.

I know what you mean though, so please don’t think i am defending the treatment of horses. but you said yourself you eat meat, the horses died in an accident. Cows, pigs and Lambs are killed for food, and it’s not write we breed these animals just for the sole purpose of eating, but we like to eat, and damned if i am gonna eat rabbit food all the time. So I really don’t think you have an arguement there Mrs clean.

Other animals are breeded for food.

However I totally disagree with you here . the horses love being raced and love the jumps – you can tell that – cos they are always smiling and dribbling

Seriously though – race horses are well looked after – 5* stables the lot – if they weren’t being bred for racing and for cowboy films there would hardly be any horses left !!!
