    The Chilcott Report is (surprisingly) damning of Tony Blair’s decision to rush us all to a war in Iraq which has proved to be devastating for iraq, and for the region, and to have led to an upsurge in terrorism. The only people to have emerged with any credit were the British squaddies who had to carry through a horrifying war with insufficient military equipment. As for the hundreds of thousands of Iraqi dead, in a war which continues to this day……

    Not as much as the war was a waste of money….and a waste of much else, more important than money.

    It could have been done more quickly, less expensively, but in the end it was important that this report was completed.

    The relatives of the soldiers will now be able to take legal action, hopefully.

    Yeah we could have dropped a nuke..at least the Yanks could they know how to do that. Why didnt we do it another way in WW1 or 2 and the soldiers were doing their job though the loss of life is tragic as is all loss of life in the main.
    I won’t be reading it that’s for certain
