Yes he tried to hang himself, the rope broke, he fell out of the tree onto the pavement below where he had previously laid the 30 pieces of silver. As he fell face down onto this silver he inadvertently swallowed them and choked to death.
It wasn’t true that he died from massive loss of blood from an anal rupture – caused by the Apostles sticking the 30 pieces of silver up his arse.
