31 March, 2008 at 12:17 pm #322179Yes I read about that pebbles. I can quite beleive it too. The amount of people I see walking down the street, texting away or talking on the damn things without looking where they are going is incredible. It,s a soddin telephone for Christs sake!!! Do people walk around with their landline surgically attatched to their ear? NO. The report is quite right, some people really do fly into a panic if the mobile isn,t charged up or if they,ve run out of credit, or even if they havn,t had a blasted text for 5 minutes. ffs. I,ve recently aquired my daughters old one and I,m blowed if I can remember how to turn it on!! She,s been trying to show me how to send a text message, and I think I,ve got the hang of it……….kind of. I havn,t even got it turned on at the moment. I only plan on having it with me if I,m out and about and I actually need to phone someone for something. Other than that the stupid thing stays turned off. To actually fly into a panic over a telephone is just bloody ridiculous. What is wrong with these people? Get a bloody grip ffs.

I rarely use mine to be honest. Just the odd text or quick call really. Its yet ANOTHER thing they claim gives you cancer! I like to keep it in my bag for emergencies really just for peace of mind… like when im on a night out and need to call my personal taxi ermm i mean my bf to pick me up
31 March, 2008 at 1:29 pm #322181I used to be bad with my phone, hated it if I didn’t have credit, then I got a contract phone, now I am back on pay as you go and I hardly use it. Thanks christ I got over that one
31 March, 2008 at 1:31 pm #322182My phobia is normal…. wasps, I hate the things they send me into a blind panic, so much so that when my eldest was in a pram I got chased by one and ran away and left him
Dave hates feet (including his own) and anything dead with fur or feathers… wierdo
31 March, 2008 at 1:34 pm #322183speaking of weird phobias, shaz just reminded me…my mum has got a really silly fear of frogs   my sister bought her a wooden one at xmas – you know those ones that you run the stick arcross the back and it makes the noise that a frog makes. I phoned her up and made the noise down the phone, it was hiliarious! She ended up throwing it away the daft mare cos she couldnt stand having it in the house  its weird though cos my nan had the exact same phobia, if the budweiser ad came on she used to switch the channel cos she couldnt stand looking at them!
31 March, 2008 at 1:35 pm #322184:lol: I have wasps too, I am allergic though so I do have an excuse!
