There was a thread around 18 months back where king strongbow went into lengthy detail about a killer who tortured women in the back of his van with dialogue /detailed descriptions of vaginas being cut open , torture etc. I seem to recall Sceptical questioning why this was being put on a messageboard and the purpose of it implying it was fairly twisted.
Now we have tales of goats being raped, kids being molested/abused from an OP whose only contribution to the board is this ” work of intelligence” . It doesn’t represent emotional intelligence , it represents a poorly written insight into a poster that’s using an internet message board to talk about a topic that obviously interests him enough to write about. If this was in addition to other poems, it could be interpreted as simply a dark poem but clearly the topic provides enough interest to write about with no other interests.
Most on here have talked about sport, Brexit, politics , religion yet none of that interests Dexy , he just pops up in his dark glasses to write about a boy waiting to get battered and raped by his father…. bizarre stuff.
Incidentally your point of no topics being off limit is nonsensical as you continue to pipe up about perceived racism / misogyny / homophobia so I suppose if a poster started a topic with ” I dont like black fags ” you would be happy to discuss it ?

I rarely go on the boards these days, but that doesn’t matter. Make a sex-pest up and make it stick. So much easier than an honest confrontation with an opposing politics.

I haven’t a clue what you are dribbling on about , I am referring to you blowing kisses up the arses of Mizzy when she was here , Moosey and other females bending over backwards to appease them. Your political stance has nothing to do with it whatsoever.
I don’t do cliques Sceptical, I dislike most on here and don’t know you from Adam. I can only comment on what I read and your continual pandering to women – I treat both genders equally and speak to Moosey in the same way as I would to you or Ge. I don’t actually believe you are a paedophile or into bestiality , just a lonely guy trying to impress a few women by kissing their arses on threads.
Having the bravery to post what appears to be a personal experience demonstrates emotional intelligence. It is totally irrelevant how “poorly” written it is, or isn’t. Opinions are like arseholes, we all have one. Poetry is not the sole preserve of the well educated and nor should it be.
Anyone ‘grown up’ who has experience of domestic violence and sexual abuse, whether it be in a professional capacity or personal, will recognize that violent monsters can also have incredibly tender moments and it is that paradox that makes their behaviour even more intimidating and even more scary.
My 86 year old neighbour now can’t make an advance appointment to see her GP of 30+ years, she has to ring up on the day at 8am and play the ‘can I get an appointment lottery’. Silly words on a screen that make people angry are just that, silly words. The real world is somewhat different.

I’m just repeating what somebody told me quite a while ago.
In real life, as on here, I prefer the company of women. I do have some very close male friends, but very few. I don’t like the general camaraderie which lends itself to football talk and disdains emotional intimacy.
Mooosey is someone for whom I have great respect, and even liking, but our relationship has hardly been one of kissing her arse. It’s been pretty stormy. She’s an extremely stubborn woman; as I can be an extremely stubborn man. The result is an arms-length relationship, certainly at present, given our nature likely for the future. Mizzy is someone who is a natural poet – I always encourage that now, after being very snooty a few years ago.
On literature, I think that a number of people have been pretty outrageous – none more so than James Joyce, whose book Ulysses was banned as obscene in 1922 when it was first published – look at the soliloquy of Molly Bloom as a spectacular example of why (and his relationship with his wife Nora as the inspiration for the passage) , but there are other passages. He’s also a very innovative novelist, whose books are long established on the University curricula (some on the school curriculum, too – such as Dubliners).
However, the Far Right has traditionally been wedded to a very conventional purtianism in its cultural politics. The burning of the books by the new Nazi regime in Germany in the early 30s is an example – many degenerate books, including Lawrence and Joyce – were burned.
You’re a big follower of Tommy Robinson ,probably the most charismatic leader of the british Far Right since Oswald Mosley, and much in the news recently (there was a fascinating article on the connections with the US Right in today’s paper, explaining why there is a big support of Trump here). I’ve read that Robinson is conducting a ‘cultural class war’ against the Esatblishment in this country.
As a matter of interest, does this include censorship of ‘degenerate’ and ‘obscene’ materials? This is a genuine question, and you may genuinely be unable to answer.
Speaking personally, I am absolutely in favour of your using terms which are illegal as ‘hate crime’. I’m not taking part in a campaign to overturn the hate crime laws, but I’m opposed to all censorship – except materials whihc are intended to directly cause violence.

I have no screen logs of you so whoever you are speaking to is talking nonsense. I don’t wish to see anyone banned, especially on an online forum and generally agree with your views in not censoring material. That said, the OP has made two posts on JC in the history of his account and both relate to abusing children, the first was about a pre pubescent girl and the second seems to feature the same age range. If these posts were alongside other contributions, they wouldn’t stand out as they do but question why anyone would use their account just to post about that specific thing- past experiences as a victim which Ge implies or some kind of titillation who knows.
In any event, I’m entitled to comment on them as I see fit and don’t see them as intelligent contributions but evidence of a potentially warped mind . The authors you refer to made numerous contributions to other areas of interest.. I’d question any author that solely focuses on a child waiting at home to get raped by its father and a prepubescent child named ” Becky “.
I’ll take you on face value when you state your views on Mizzy/Moosey as I’m emotionally detached in comparison and can’t identify with this mentality. To me it’s sleazy but certainly dont think you are a sexual deviant with these logs you imply I have, as I’ve seen nothing to suggest you have behaved “inappropriately” other than what I mentioned on the boards. It isn’t just you incidentally, I see numerous posters blowing xxs out to people they barely know which to me is slightly nauseating – it doesn’t mean they are sex offenders.

I remember the King Strongbow piece. I found it very disturbing because it was so salacious.
Do you think Dostoevsky’s account in The Possessed is salacious??
It was certainly cut out by the Tsarist censor in the 1870s, but cutting it out weakened the novel.
The novel had opened with Stavrogin haunted by some unexplained episode in his past. It ends with his suicide by hanging.
The rape and death by hanging of the girl explains this.
But certainly if the episode was dealt with salaciously, the censor would have had a point.

I’ve no idea as I haven’t read it . The whole point evidently missed which I’ll repeat , is that these authors and even works in their own right contained other themes rather than solely focusing on abuse. Using an analogy, if a film was three hours long containing violence , love , death , life and rape , you would be hard pressed to classify the film as basking in gratuitous sexual deviancy but if the same director had film after film of no other content than rape/ incest / buggery it changes the dynamics entirely
