You’re doing what you always do, making an ill thought out comment, and then when someone picks you up on it, spend the next 20 pages arguing that you didnt say it / didnt mean it that way. Maybe you should think before you type in future and make your point perfectly clear, instead of rambling on like a lunatic.

..and what exactly is sick about Pikey showing a picture of George Best at his lowest ebb, on a thread where people are discussing addiction? You said he called you names…he didnt. You said he lost the argument, he didnt…you did when you started telling him to f.uck off because you didnt like his point of view.

i abhor drugs .always have.made no pretence of the fact when me and smiley went head to head a long time ago on a similiar thread.
but i’m also a hypocrite….i refer to drugs as spliffs…coke.heroin…e/s….uppers.downers…an anything else people swallow sniff or inject to make their night out go with more of a buzz.
yet……………i smoke…..and i drink.
i dont think i drink enough to end up like george best…..but i’m certainly in line for lung cancer or any other cancer caused by nicotene.

and the people defending the rich and famous who know exactly what they are doing.
so back to peaches…..how many 18 yr olds have £150 to go to a dealer and think nothing of it except a rollicking from daddy when he opens the news of the world…..or the kid next door who will pinch his mums catalogue money…..rob the old lady down the road on her way back from the post office……..go theiving to order….

I will sympathise with any form of addict, I still drink and smoke, I can’t be a bigot, I know how easy it is to become addicted and I feel for those that try to stop but they haven’t got the will or the way, this is my only arguement. Narrow minded people are a form of addict themselves, they won’t let their minds open to others misfortunes and be sympathetic.

Dont read between my lines theres nothing to read i have sympathy for the causes of addiction not the addiction itself if you dont like it i suggest you return your costume to millets and get a refund instead of wasting your time posting cause i care not a jot for your opinion

im saying you became less of a person while you were, you were hurting yourself and to some degree hurting others probably but your not now, you did something about it and should be commended for that but not sympathised with when you were an addict
I meant this Pete, you said i was less of a person for becoming a drug addict, to be commended for coming off them, good bad or indifferent, people deserve some form of sympathy. I never realised I’d become an addict, I didn’t set out to be one, my friend and I both used to be weekenders, I became addicted, she didn’t, so I am a lesser person than she is because she didn’t become an addict… I just wish you’d open your eyes, this world isn’t all black and white.
You became less of a person than you were drugs alcohol do that, i never said you became a bad person now did i, or that you or anyone else were worse in comparison to another, never intimated you set out to be an addict no one does. Dont read between lines theres not always anything to read and i know it aint black and white some people are driven some just become thats shades isnt it ?
And I told you that I still had a loving caring nature, still held down a job and paid my bills, why am I a lesser person?

in which case can i please have a huge awwwwww cause i smoked (i chose not to go to school one day and spent it at a smokers house poor tortured me) and after shiting myself cause i thought i was gonna die i stopped and i want a cigarette every day every single day and guess what… i chose to smoke, me, no one else so if anyone is sympathetic then ram it cause it’s my fault. Help and sympathy dont need to go hand in hand they want help they should have help

i get what your sayin sian. i’m just trying to see it from both sides. a former addict will have sympathy for an addict……having been there got the t shirt. like i said i’m a hypocrite.i drink.i smoke.yet when i see people swallowing pills..sniffing charlie.ect..just to get that extra buzz i cant understand why.
when i go out the drink .music and company is enough……i dont need to do the rest. and yes.that last fag b4 i fall into bed….an that first one in a morning is probably doing me just as much harm.
