Situation:
My husband bought 2 sets of tickets so I can decide where I’d like to sit for the concert. Problem is I can’t make up my mind where I’d like to sit and I have to make a decision soon so that we can put the remaining tickets on E-Bay. :wink:People who do this make me sick, buying extra tickets to sell on ebay so that the real fans have to stump up triple the price to see a band they really like. Its always the same, on the day the tickets go on sale for a big event you cant get through on the phones for ages, and by the time you do its sold out. Few hours later theres literally thousands on sale on Ebay. It shouldnt be allowed.
How would you feel if you couldnt get tickets and had to pay £300 – £400 for a pair off some greedy git on Ebay??

Ok
1. He bought the tickets so that I could choose where I would like to sit because I AM A REAL FAN2. When selling the tickets on e-bay the minim we would take is what we paid for the tickets
3. Maybe you should buy tickets when they are available and not wait until there all taken up and the last resort is E-bay
4. It’s not being a “Greedy Git”, it’s trying to be nice to his wife

1. First off, I’m not a Bon Jovi fan, I was making a general point about people who buy tickets for concerts in general.
2. Just because youre a real fan does NOT mean you have the right to buy an extra set of tickets, by doing this you have deprived another REAL fan of their chance of seeing a band they have probably waited a long time to see, as have you.
3. You clearly missed what I said about this, its hard enough to get hold of tickets by phone and via the net without greedy gits buying extra sets just in case they change their minds about where they want to sit. I personally wouldnt give some rip off merchant the satisfaction of having £300 quid for a set of £50 quid tickets.
4. I hope that the person who bids turns out to be one of those coonts who doesnt pay and you end up out of pocket

I’ll be sure to think of you when I have a few extra dollars in my pocket so my drinks will be free at the concert :wink:Don’t blame others who have quicker dialing and typing skills than you. These people who are profiting from a sold out concert actually provide a service for fans. They give them hope to see something they love. If I were a huge fan of a particular band and was dying to see them, I’d pay the money. Instead of blaming these Propheteers in a free market, you should do whatever it is you do over in Europe to change the laws. But if it’s legal, then what’s the problem???
And, my last comment on this, don’t hate the player, hate the game
