I think if I remember Rubes, I was quite upset
but only because I did like you
but I’ve never thought of you as cliquey
    only your own person
    your threads make me smile
even when I can’t understand your dialect at times
to be honest I don’t see any real cliques in here
    just good mates

Its like we are all in a pub together
we pass casual comments to people we hardly know
and agree with some of the things they say
but we all have people who’s company we enjoy
and tend to sit at the same table, have a few drinks and a really good chat and a laugh
but would always welcome someone who wants to come sit with us

    did that make sense

makes perfect sense to me doll,, i often think similar actually.. we cant get on with everyone, but if we meet folk that DO make ye smile ye tend to stick by them..

I had the same interogation when i joined,, i was Veronica !! ( gadzooks) and no one believed me at first. but i found it more humourous as a true newbie to dispel myths. Pats and my knowledge of Northern Soul music saved me :)

oh and I havent been sat at my computer all day
Its sat on the kitchen table and is switched on
but Ive make a roast chicken dinner, cut my front hedge,
    tidied my back garden
    done 5 loads of washing
taken my sons bed downstairs and thrown it out
    hoovered everywhre
    washed kitchen floor
and thats only half of it

then every so often i sit down with a cuppa and a cig and have a nosy and perhaps post

    but why am I explaining
is it because I’m worried other people may think i’m sat here all day
    and what if i did
    who is it hurting

    oerrrrr :?

Only near offer I’ve had is from the milk delivery man

hes near retirement age and has a lump on his forehead
everyone calls him miserable two heads

    His exact words were

    If I wasn’t married I’d have you
I can’t understand why you are single

    needless to say
    it didnt make my day
    my colleagues think its hilarious
all I did was make him a cuppa and tell him a joke

I agree with this post wholeheartedly.

And I think we have all said things we wish we didnt at times, maybe even went to far. I know I have.

But the thing that never ceases to amaze me is the fact that its alright for some to belittle, demean, degrade etc…but it isnt alright for others when coming to their own defense.

Its all about who you are or of course who you pretend to be here isnt it.

i dont regret anything i say. what would be the point of saying it in the first place.
