Having just bought a new Compaq after my Dell’s screen frying on me after no end of lil techie hitches I would recommend Compaq any day.
Compaq is HP in disguise. :wink:
The customer support for Dell is pants – Even the major high st retailers don’t want to know if you have a problem with a Dell machine.
It’s fine if you are techie minded (which I’m not). It either works or it doesn’t & if it doesn’t sitting on the phone & ridiculous p a min being shunted from adviser by Dell is enough to make a saint swear.
The peeps at PC world were fab when I went lappy shopping & their after care is brill whatever machine you choose.
