So…am I one of the ‘sympathy voters’ then Geoff? Because let me tell you…over the past four years I have had sympathy and…worse…pity…up to HERE!!! I came onto these boards by chance..out of curiosity..and found something to take my mind off the constant round of doctors and hospitals and all that shiit. I came onto the boards to be ME..the me that I used to be..the me that I still am inside. You had a go at me Geoff..and I was taken aback..you insinuated that I was an ‘old reg’ which made a mockery of the friendships I was forming on here with other people. I have never been anything other than honest..and I will be honest with you now Geoff..life is too short for all this bullshiitt..I’m tired of the back-biting..mine as well as anyone else’s..and I gladly offer you the hand of conciliation..should you care to take it. In the light of what’s going on in the world..our squabbles seem silly and futile…do they not? Continuing on with my theme of honesty..I don’t really think you WILL accept my hand..but I hope you prove me wrong..and at least I know I tried.

Your correct on one VERY important point.
If YOUR threads are deleted because they are deemed contraversial, then so should everybody elses.
Rules must apply to ALL users.
(But you must love this popularity you have Geoffers :wink: !)
N’mind, a few others have been having posts deleted since Friday too, why is this all of a sudden?
Contraversial threads are the most popular, people dont HAVE to read them and they DONT HAVE to post!!

I think you will find Geoff that this thread was never intended to be about you in any shape or form. In fact it was a direct response to Martin for deleting a thread that you yourself had started and a few of us joined in with voicing our opinions in a manner that these message boards were (supposed to be) designed for. We dont like being silenced whenever we have a point of view and the more it happens the more people will retaliate and fight against it. You got censored Geoff…. we retaliated…. is that fighting against you or FOR you?

And good morning to you PB. Nice to see that you’ve seen me offer the hand of conciliation. You will therefore have also seen that I am tired of all the bullshiitting and back-biting..my own included. So I wonder then why you would continue to shiitt stir? However..in the spirit of openness and in answer to your question..the favoured few can be categorised as anyone who hasn’t had the temerity to criticise administration openly on the boards. If this answer fails to satisfy..I am sure we can settle things over a game of Pooh Sticks in hundred acre wood…
By all means feel free to visit JustChat and criticise ”admin” if you must and if your points are well made they will be listened to and where possible acted upon. Usually the ‘Site Comments’ board is the venue for this. Constructive criticism is helpful, destructive criticism is just that!
If however a user simply wants to have a slanging match with ”admin” as the target and just throw insults at Staff then these sorts of posts will usually end up on the cutting room floor. The ”admin” Staff on these boards are volunteers and give up their time freely. None of us, and that includes me, take particularly kindly to users coming on here to insult us.
Now, you have posted that there are (in your opinion) a so-called ”favoured few” that you have spotted in the couple of months that you have been a member here – so please will you let us all know just exactly who they are???

And you tell ME who the favoured few are PB..I’m not on the receiving end of the complaints..that’s YOUR job. Not being privy to your private messages..I therefore couldn’t possibly know who HASN’t complained. Maybe EVERYONE has issued a private written kicking..in which case I expect ’em ALL to be deleted at some point. You obviously have an issue with ME..and if you wish to parry with this childish debate ad nauseum..feel free..after all..you’ve maybe got nowt better to do?
So that would be a ‘no’ to conciliation then Geoff? Ah well…
