Colours Of Love

Across the miles of land and sea,
Blue engulfs, you’re far from me.
I dream of you in lover’s bliss,
Embracing lightly with a gentle kiss.

E-mails chase the demons of night,
Yellow shines in the morning light.
Each word of your love, my happiness grows,
Smiles light my face, my love for you shows.

Twilight falls, we return to our lives,
Black suffocates, as night arrives.
These hours apart are the worst of all,
Bedtime comes and I answer sleep’s call.

In dreams together, setting stars alight,
Crimson surrounds, passion loves the night.
Reality’s chains can’t keep us apart,
Fantasies freed from within the heart.

The sky lightens, dawn breaks through,
Red fades to pink, I yearn for you.
Hurry the day our worlds combine,
And hearts and hands once more entwine.
