We’ve seen quite a bit of snow lately, which is surprising! There’s more to come, so we’ve been told! I’m going to risk walking down the hill in a bit, so, no doubt, i’ll fall on my a s s..
Well, Woohoo…you’d be Woo Hooing over this solution – cheap and great fun.
Knock down and flatten a large, heavy cardboard box. When you’re at the top of the hill, sit down on the flattened cardboard, just far enough back so that you can grab the front
edge of it and bring it towards you. If you can tuck your feet on the ‘board’, so much the better.
Now..push off with your hands, grab the front and use it as your steering tool while you hurtle down the hill at top speed!!! Woo Hoo!!!
The cardboard gets very slick within seconds after takeoff…..oh….you might have to
stick a leg out and use your foot to stop at the bottom..lol
The snow (or ice) has to be ‘hard’, not slushy..wet cardboard just won’t do..:)
