ive just had that cleanator pop up as i was trying to log into the boards , like you termy it was differant this time :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil:

Yep same here …….. it popped up just as i logged on the board index …..
I got Cleanator pop up 3 times last night between 9 and 10….others were coming in and saying they had had it to…..dont know if its about more on a night

There appears to be a malicious banner being served through our advertising broker, Advertising.com.
They are undertaking a manual check of all advertising inventory in an attempt to find the banner that is causing this issue – other sites have also been affected.
It would help if you let me know what banner appeared at the top of the page (where we serve the regular banner adverts) prior to the Cleanator pop-up advert appearing – that is, if you get a chance to see it before your window closes/shrinks.

That’s pretty near impossible that bit… unless we have the ability to look back in time!
The ad banners have been off since your post… perhaps the advertisers have taken it off?

Our advertising company has now found the malicious banner and removed it from their network. They are also investigating the issue internally as a matter of priority to prevent this from happening again.
Although highly unlikely, if you come across any future Cleanator pop-ups on Just Chat, please let me know.

i got it twice the other ay so i did the following.
put the following IP address in your firewall 72.55.156.207
you shouldnt get it again. :wink:I keep getting one about an earthquake , thought it was meant to be there …..
