Un like you I am a realest.

Everyone feel this sentence is too short and unfair, but feel its not.

Of course down loading or view child p o r n is wrong and the police and courts do prosecute people for it.

But there has to be some kind of prospective, we can’t lock people up for years for minor crimes.

I can think of far worst crimes ageist children that this one, such the grandmother who use drugs and alcohol, then let a dangerous dog in the house because it was “cold”, which then ripped a 5 year girl old apart.

How many years did she get?

I don’t hear you all moaning about that one.

Have we all forgotten about the high number of children kill around due the high demand for organs in the west?

What about the “Torso in the Thames “ a few years back where some immigrates imported a child from Africa for human sacrifice?

Child abuse is an emotional subject, but the law is a cold-hearted beast.

10 months in prison is a very long time for first time offenders, I think sending him to prison to mix with the hard core paedophiles was a mistake.

Oh dont even get me started on that pissed up excuse for a grandmother. Ive ranted about her on another forum and there are even people who think she has been punished enough!! I have mentioned her here on the maddie thread, saying there was loads of evidence against her but she is found not guilty. There is (as far as I can see) not one bit of credible evidence against the McCanns yet they are guilty without trial.

he is evry bit as bad as them so forgive me if i dont shed a tear or two, he got some sort of perverse pleasure out of watching small children being sexually abused,,,,,,, in the words of the immortal tommy ‘hang em, hang em high’!!!!

Doa, you cant say this is a minor crime. We’re talking about paedophiles here, sick people who prey on the young, innocent and defenceless. The sentence he got was pathetic, and I strongly believe that viewing this sort of material is just the start. How many paedophiles have been undiscovered and thought how easy it was to access these images, and then went on to much worse things?

Onto the case of the grandmother and the child who was attacked by a dog, yet again, this is a totally different matter. This is neglect, rather than abuse. I was disgusted that she got off without punishment and that the owner of the dog only got 8 weeks. I dont believe that dogs are born this way, its all down to the way they are treated. From what I read, he was violently abusive towards the dog. I just think that its a shame he didnt turn on his owner and give him a taste of his medicine, he certainly deserved it.
