Can’t eat it for a year linda? that because of your operation on your teeth? Corn on the cob is one of the most difficult things to eat as the corn is so small and it’s hard to get your teeth on to pull the corn off.
Due to an accident i had years ago, a few of my teeth are false so i can’t eat apples unless i cut them up or corn on the cob I just stick to tinned sweetcorn now.
Yeah…K.F.C lunchboxes are awesome but the chicken is spicy. I don’t mind it but i’d rather have it without.
Chinese is awesome…..get a special delivered once a month from my local. Can’t eat it all it’s so much. I eat it over 2 days. lol

8 October, 2017 at 10:39 am #1074405Yes Misterq.. the accident killed everyone I had naturally left. Hee, out with the old, in with the new. Can not eat yet at all with them.. frustrated. Dentist says not enough time. And when come back from tour, implants..honestly been a bummer for 4 weeks now.
Beautiful they are, no meats any kind, rolls, so forth. Fruit well yep, kiss apples goodbye. My favorite season when dipped in Carmel/nuts. Cried other day walking by that another of my favorite.
Lots of soup, eggs, fish meals now. Non chewable really..ha ha
Xx
8 October, 2017 at 11:12 am #1074421Me either Linda, I would rather take onion rings over french fries. A few weeks back I ordered a chicken burger and it was just a dry bun with the chicken burger. I phoned up and asked where the lettuce and mayonnaise was, but apparently you need to ask if you want that because too many people call to complain when it did come on it. Who wants a dry chicken burger!

8 October, 2017 at 11:14 am #1074423Sometimes if I order take away and I cant eat it, I freeze it and heat it up another time.
Pizza is good to freeze as are Chinese noodles and rice.
Just freeze in the containers you get with it (plastic) then defrost and heat in microwave another time.
I defrost Chicken balls then heat through in the oven.
I don’t get take away that often as its often 7 quid delivery to where I live.
I tend to try and cook homemade food to taste as similar to take away as possible as the local take away up the road is terrible. Cambridge takeways are not a patch on London’s. Even their kebab meat is anaemic looking and don’t get me started on their miniature battered sausages.
Hopefully one day they will catch up with London.

8 October, 2017 at 11:26 am #1074432Asdas do beef burgers you can just defrost in the microwave now, so bung a cheese slice on and toast a warburtons bap sling sliced gerkhin bit of lettuce, some onions and burger sauce and bobs your uncle fanny’s your aunt a nice cheeseburger without the wait.
Sometimes I just use mince and make into patty’s and cook in the oven then put with the cheese slice and put warburton bap as above – tastes very much like a Macdonalds cheeseburger.
Honest it really does.
I also get turkey mince season it, use a few spices and coat in breadcrumbs form into patty’s fry it, add lettuce and mayonnaise in a seeded roll, slice of cheese – tastes similar to a chicken burger you’d get from take away.
I can copy the taste of a lot of take aways – Chinese, Indian, Italian etc
Yes I am that sad lol
Kind of a hobby of mine.
I love Canneloni (cant spell it) and the pasta tubes you get are so hard to put the mince in I now make my own pasta and just roll the mince bolognaise in it and cut in half lay into a dish and put homemade cheese sauce on the top. Much better than any grotty microwave meal and very very tasty.

8 October, 2017 at 11:29 am #1074434Seems to me and i may be wrong in some ways…the further you go from London, the worse the service gets? It’s like…have you ever eaten a banana from Jamaica? Ate an orange from Florida? Tomato from Italy or snowflake from Canada? well you get my drift. LOL

8 October, 2017 at 11:39 am #1074441interesting joke went round my school back in the day…it didn’t catch on as much as seeing the “Have you seen Stevie wonders new video ?” joke. It went according to the Bob’s your uncle and fanny’s your aunt joke. Apparently……your uncle’s got plenty of money and your aunt is kind of tasty. LOL never found the real root of this joke but some thing tells me it had some thing to do with Bob Monk-house. Not to be confused with the legend of Bob from Blockbusters.

Love those big onion rings…..soft, crispy
I do like fries, lots of dipped ketschup. But I think when you grow up all ur life with them as a side dish for a fast food, well gets boring. Make sense…
