not appreciated by all i know :PI have no idea why I call myself teapot … Im not short and stout..lol… I used to play backgammon under the name of onion.. maybe its a kitchen thing. I will have to think about that.. ah but it does not do to over analyse things

It is interesting though to ask some chatters why they chose particular names. For instance f_politics. I’ve always wondered Pollers why you chose that name, needless to say there doesn’t have to be a reason, It was just an example that came into my head reading the thread. It gives me an image of a highly intelligent lady whos into politics. :lol:Suprising how things never seem as they are lol
But I like that image kent stick with that one
:DBut in truth many moons ago when using a different name i had a little moan to someone about the constant pm’s i got, they jestfully suggested if i used something like fem into politics it would reduce them to virtually zero… i tried it and it worked in the main :D so kept it ever since 8)
I use the name mimsey in the rooms, minim on the boards.. was Bob for a while and still use that name on occasions. I don’t get many pc’s with the name Bob, so that works a treat in the rooms. I also created other names for fun on various boards, so some people know me as whimsical too.
What’s in a name? who knows. I do know that once i get to know someone, it doesn’t matter what name they use. That goes in real life too, one of my work mates just changed their name by deed poll but i shall carry on calling her Strumpet, and my nephew uses his first name now, but all the family call him by his middle name. My dad always calls me Charlie! A group of workmates a while ago abbreviated my real name until it was practically unrecognisable and I am still in contact with a few, and they STILL call me by that name!
I also make up names for people and call them by that name! It’s fun, and so far I haven’t fallen foul of someone without a sense of humour, although one boss would have sacked me if he had known i always referred to him as Mr Ploppy Pants! Thank God, I never called him that to his face eeeeek
I’ve always used the name fat neil… cos I’m fat and my name is Neil… For some reason, it said “Neil” was a banned word when I tried to register it for the boards, so use fat bob on here instead.
that will be because of twonk called Neil who was particularly nasty to well, just about everyone. :D

I once attended a Backgammon meeting in York. Lots of the people there I had played backgammon with for a long time on the puter. One woman in particular whose chat name was FemmeNikita attended… she was always so popular especially with men all queueing up to play her.
I was nervous to meet her as she was so popular,,, anyway she turned out to be a rather large lady with dirty finger nails and gaps in her teeth.. not what I expected at all, she was a good player though but knowing the real person did change the psyche between us and I won more games after our meeting… crazy huh?

UserFrenzy: Just for the record my user name could suggest im some frantic drug abuser lol this simply isnt the case .. founded this name many moons ago before the word USER was thrown around as slang for anything bad So was actually just a play on UserFriendly really, Some of the names are fantastic from this community site, be great if online persona matched real time personality but regarless of status popularity or otherwise, YOU AINT BEATING ME AT BACKGAMMON lol
That FemmeNikita sounds like a right sort ..if ya out there call me sometime :)
Ha! If I ever see Femmenikita again User I will point her in your direction! and I know a few guys like you I never beat, they always disconnect before the last throw of the dice :lol: :P :lol:

now i smile at the name it conjures up images :lol:Actually Cosy Im quite new to chat as in “chat rooms” when I first joined JC I was and to a certain extent still am green around the ears, I didnt realise the predators and players that frequent chat rooms, hence I no longer chat. Well only very occasionally which as I have said before is just because Im nosey
