Have been in f3 a few times in the last few days (3 times I think).
Yes it is very quiet. the conversation about toilets and waste bins was exhilarating. (this morning)
Being a guest that was only interested in those that would chat (which I found hard to find – in fact I didn’t) I don’t see any real change in the room.
But I’m sure the regs pushing for a private room will no doubt be very happy in the mistake they have achieved
I thought about leaving jc but decided not too as I think I don’t believe I will have to.
Bad decision banning the guests ……………….. That’s my opinion

clearly Martin didn’t like my opinion
he deletedmy post then banned me
some where a long the line he decided he would unban me
maybe because my opinion turns out not dissimilar to many others
to ban guests will ultimately kill the site off
making guests numbers has been a mistake
because it has denied many decent regs an identity
further more the new format has many glitches and several decent registered regs have had problems logging in
i can log in
I can pm
but I can’t post in the room
so when I wished to chat I had to be a number
ive never hid who I am as a number but still got abuse from a few so called decent registered regs
one of the biggest problems with chat is very poor moderation
guides and hosts should be detached from chatters
and not influenced by their own preferences
there will never be a chat room free of disputes no matter how you stack it up

Good to see you Sceptical Guy. You ever seen the old classic film…footsteps in the fog with Stewart Granger and Gene Simmons? Nothng to do with this post but i keep being told it’s a great film.
I tried to watch it one afternoon when I was doing nothing else and felt intensely bored.
I couldn’t watch it because I found it to be highly uninteresting.
Whoever told you it was a great film must have been tryng to warn you that this is what f3 would look like once it was policed.

Mr q has asked about some crap movie called Footsteps in the Dark. He says he’s been told it’s a wonderful film.
I knew it was a crap movie before I saw it because it had Stewart Grainger in it. When I gave it a brief view once, I noted jean Simmons playing a stage Cockney servant. This is the ms Simmons who went on to bare her bosom (just hidden from the viewing public – it was in the early 1960s) for Kirk Douglas in Spartacus. Spartacus was a true gentleman in his reaction, whihc just goes to show that they don’t make Thracian slaves like that any more.
I wasted a minute or so of my life by letting him know it wasn’t worth watching.
mr q then thinks that it enriches his wonderful life (see his related thread) to claim that actually nobody told him and that he hadn’t said anything.
well the tears must be flowing out of his eyes as he rolls around the floor laughing at his prank. What a wonderful life he’s having.
I just wondered whether he posts for the sake of posting, or whther there is a hidden and subtle meaning in what he’s saying (surely nobody can be that infantile) or whether he really is the little man described by mooosey?
