No offence Martin, but it should have been kept ‘ on topic ‘ pages ago!!! as some of us tried to do !
Not just when some sort of ‘admin glitch’ occurs which makes things look unprofessional.
At the very least the previous posts exposed that I and a number of others have been registered a long time, personally I don’t give a rats,
but others may object to this information being made public ?! personal info about who is registered being given out to Bellevue? In error ?Probably because of a software glitch ? so maybe an apology rather than a re-reading of the rules ?
I’m pretty sure most are thinking which bits ? which bits broke the rules ?, as character assassination, belittling, and confrontation etc are a daily occurrence on these boards
and more often than not ignored ??
so which bit are you ruling on and why only this thread ? Or is it only because there has been aforesaid glitch ,where other members gained information about other chatters , pretty insignificant info, but never the less, it may well put ppl off registering ?
Poor show Sir !!Looks like the nice guests that used to come in forum 3 are now using forum so if anyone from forum3 wants to chat with them that’s where they are.
It is a shame that these members have not been able to join in the chat in forum 3 because others have caused trouble.
A safe room for register guests is needed but changing forum 3 to it was not the way to go.
The better solution is to make a new room just for registered or as forum 1 was not being used but is now by the nice guests that used to use forum3 maybe this could be changed to a registered only room and let these guests back in forum3.

Actually room 1 WAS being used. It was starting to get busier with new people and new people registered,. I know as i was USING it.
A few nice chatters have started to come in from room 3.
Unfortunately room 1 has also inherited a chatter from room 3 who i wont name, who is now abusing newcomers who come to room 1 as well as crapping up any nice or ‘normal’ conversations we try to have.
Gone is the banter, gone are the silly word association fun games (yes it may seem crap to you but we quite enjoyed playing when it was quiet and boring in there and who was it offending?) gone is the friendly reception i and others were giving newcomers hoping they would come back to JC. Last night a lovely lady from Aberdeen came in and it was nice chatting til a certain person started to insult her for chatting with me saying ‘if you are talking to Mizzy then you are obviously as fake and ignorant as she is’ etc etc
Aberdeen lady ripped her a new one, but whether she will come back to chat again after that i really dont know.
Numbers are dwindling, we need new chatters. Why do I care? Cos i do. Am i starting not to care – yes very much so.
Room 3 may now be all singing and dancing without the guest numbers (some of which are lovely and just didnt want to pay for registration online so are now missing out) but alas the knock on affects to both rooms 1 and 2 are highly detrimental to the future of JC.
What is the answer? I have my ideas, I am quite sure no one wants to hear them so I wont bother.

No offence but that makes no sense at all, as a long time chatter in f3 why should I have to go in forum 1 to chat to guests who are friends and not be allowed to chat to registered users in F3 that I have known for years at the same time ?? Yes a registered only room is what’s needed, as a first brought up pages and pages ago, but in F3 !! Just a separate add on room ! its perfectly possible !! and guides specifically for each forum, possibly people who have chatted there and know the trouble makers and what to look out for, then maybe Mizzys experience of a new comer being hackled and possibly put off coming back could be reduced ?

I’m sorry Hugs, but are you now saying you have changed your mind? when you were so Gung Ho that F3 should be registered chatters only and guests can join up or sod off ( in so many words ) ???

I remember some years back, when we had the old software,there were suggestions to make the 40’s room registered members only, to make chat fun again etc. Trouble is,all the ‘action’ ,juciy gossip and blazing great rows,happened in the lobby,so by comparison ,40’s was boring,and people stayed in the lobby.
I would be a perfect guide for the ‘naughty’ guest room. Just sayin…………………..

yes jane I remember that too, however it would stop the people who complain about everyone a lot ( but never ignore anyone) … so instead of stopping the ‘nice’ guests coming in say to the ones who complain about all guests ” there’s a room you can go to that guests can’t access” …. I wonder how many would tho lol, scared of missing something perhaps …. I wonder if Hugs will go sit in there ……. just a thought…
