At a dinner party recently, I was asked what films I like. I became very apologetic, and said I like foreign films.
Oh, that’s good, I was told. So does Jimmy (not real name).
Jimmy brightened up and said he liked Korean films. It soon becmae obvious that it was the extremely explicit violence he liked.
Ever seen Badger Bloodbath in Beijing? whooaar!!
2 July, 2012 at 7:40 am #494702I’m rather partial to ghost films like The Others and 6th Sense. I like thrillers too. Psycho reminds me of some ppl in here, lol.

great images pepper, i spent ages scrutinising each pic.. faves?? at a push its between de niro/Pacino and speilberg with the wee lassie that played the wee girli n the red coat on schindlers list. spent most time gazing in awe at bette davis and joan crawford though.
13 August, 2012 at 2:03 pm #494705Yes Rubes.. The standouts for me are Pacino and DeNiro with Michael Mann and the wonderful Schindler’s shot with The Berg and the little girl.
Being a hopeless geek though, I have to give honorary mentions to the Star Wars gigs.
Brill 8)13 August, 2012 at 3:16 pm #494706I love these too Sgt, its difficult to pick out an absolute favourite but if pushed Ive narrowed it down to two…. Some Like It Hot featuring a young Tony Curtis (scrumptious) and Jack Lemon… its interesting that originally parts were earmarked for Frank Sinatra and Mitzi Gaynor… before given to Jack Lemon and Marilyn Monroe… I wonder if the film would have had the same impact with that cast? :D
Second choice The Magnificent Seven Yul Brynner deals out for a card game on the set… what a poker game that would have been! :D
Lovely pics Sgt thanks :D

I used to love Mary Poppins
I still remember the annoyed ady who lived at the end house of the street, queueing with her small child at the cinema, turning to me and sayng to my happily-smiling face, “you’re a bit bloody old to be in this queue. You backward or something?”
