I love this show! (and its for a good cause)… plus it has the gorgous Mr Lee Stafford. Here’s his blog from facebook confirming the “celebrities”
what I love about this show is that they never use what is classed as “A” list, so we get to meet and find more out about personalities we have never really known.
Massive thanks for all my birthday messages and comments, I had a wicked day and now I’m busy getting myself hyped up for three hectic weeks in the Celebrity Scissorhands Academy! (and if last years anything to go by looks like I’m in for a long ride!)
The full celeb line up has now been revealed and I can tell I’ve got my work cut out for me, especially as Steve is back this year too :) So joining me in the Academy for an intense few weeks of hair and beauty training are: Lucinda Ledgerwood from The Apprentice, former Eastender Shana Swash, Stedman Pearson from 80s pop group Five Star, Jessica-Jane Clement from The Real Hustle, former Grange Hill students Lee MacDonald and Chris Perry-Metcalf, BBC Switch presenter Jeff Leach, soul singer Kym Mazelle and Scott Robinson from the boyband Five.
It all kicks off tomorrow, where I’ll be meeting the celebs in the Academy and giving them a taste of what they can expect over the next 3 weeks! You can catch highlights of our first day in the Academy on the Celebrity Scissorhands show on BBC Three – Sunday night at 9pm!
Don’t forget to do your bit for Children in Need by applying for an appointment on the Scissorhands website or by sponsoring one of your brave mates to get their hair done in the Academy. If you’re not brave enough head to the BBC Children in Need website where you can do your bit by making a donation.
Wish me luck!
Lee xXxp.s While I’m in the Academy I’ll be posting regular blogs to keep you up to date on all the hair triumphs and horrors! So make sure to check back here next week!
