I remember looking at a particular pedal car in a department store before Christmas and receiving a similar one as a Christmas present. I was not quite 3 at the time.

I also remember meeting a 90 year-old woman who showed me a scrapbook of old cards etc. That was 50 years ago when I was about 3, so she would have been born about 1868!

Other memories inclued trolleybuses and those funny little cable car things some stores used to have to send cash to the cashier’s office.

I remember loads, being in a cot ( i was in one until I was 3) I was really ill, my mum was giving me medicine, the red one in a big brown bottle.

Another one, I was at nursey, alway wanted to get there early so I could get the BEST tricycle 8) 3

The chimmney on our house falling in and landing on my mum and dads bed. about 3

Finding Mrs Steel dead in her arm chair, she was a ripe old age, my mum told be she had gone to the clouds, I used to think I could see her up there 8) about 3 again.

Probably the most common one throughout my childhood, f***ing off and either not telling anyone where I was going or not going where I said I was or going there but then going somewhere else. That could’ve been any age.

I remember we used to pick on the kid round the corner, he wasn’t allowed in the park (nor were we but we never did care much) so we’d steal his scooter and run into the park with it. Then we’d watch for him and slide the scooter out under a gap in the fence then slide it back in just as he went to pick it up. As he walked away crying we’d apologize and call him back then do it again

I remember sitting up in a pram. I remember it so clearly that it cant have been a dream.

Ive got loads, too many to post. I just wish my short term memory were as crystal clear.

I think one of my earliest memories would have to be a seaside trip.. a place called Portmarnock.. curiously enough not far from where I live now.

I must have been no more than three years old  .
I suppose it stands out as my first significant memory because I have cyrstal clear recollection of my absolute terror of sand :?.
I simply refused to stand in the stuff or come into any contact with it.
My long suffering mother would try lower me down towards it, but my legs would instinctively curl up in a curious crab like fashion :? .
Yep, I was already a wuss even at that tender age :P

I now live by the sea .. naturally
