Statistically..most suicides are amongst young men Fastcars. And yeah..there’s a big difference between feeling sorry for yourself and actual clinical depression.
We’re all being told to ‘seize the day’..and..as you said..that’ life is what you make it. ‘Sadly it ain’t that simple. Life is only what you can make out of a given set of circumstances..some people are dealt a lousy hand and struggle against the fates all their days. Others..lead charmed lives. Try telling a starving baby in Darfur that ‘life is what you make it.’ We are all subject to the whims and follies of both strangers and friends and to the dark tides of economy, illness and war. If life was what we made it,,would we not all be living in Utopia? Maybe you’ve found your own Utopia Fastcars..if so..you’re a lucky man.
