It’s disgusting. This is perhaps the nub of the issue with the McCanns. You think that they are experiencing deep remorse (the ”place that none of us can imagine”) whereas a number of us think that they show little if any sign of remorse for their actions.
All we hear is them trying to play down their negligence by using trite phrases – we had a lapse of judgement – we were naive – maybe we’re guilty but not as guilty as the (alleged) abductor – and so on and so forth.
The one thing that made me question the entire charade right from the start was the totally detached and emotionless manner of the holy Mother McCann. Had she displayed ANY sign of emotion at all – much less distress – it would never have occurred to me that she might have been involved in the way that it is now said she is…. and by implication Father McCann with her.
So if Kate McCann had displayed emotion right from the start you wouldent have suspected them?
Bit surprised at that PB. Wouldent have expected more from these clucking Women on the Forum, but I thought you would know that all people react differently, and some people hold it together better than others.
20 September, 2007 at 10:38 pm #287928True … they do. But Mother McCann seemed to me to be so utterly detached and without any emotion at all right from the start – and she has maintained this stance throughout.
As I said it was this that first made me wonder and think about the timelines and whether her ”story” made any form of sense to me. I came to the view that it was pretty much impossible for them to have checked on their abandoned children “every half hour” and once this was in doubt for me … the rest followed.

Shall I open a book on how long you will last? Im keeping stume till I think of something new to say. At the mo it is just going round in circles.
We need some more dodgy evidence or new leads to ramble about. Then between us we will solve it all.

I’m sure that the daily sport might have a new theory…..
“Breaking news, busty hot Kate Mcann and studly Mr Mcann could according to forensic experts actually be pod people from the planet Zorg. This groundbreaking revelation comes after the discovery of a seaweed like substance found on the tyre of a car they could have rented had the one they actually rented been broken,
Although this substance looks like seaweed the daily sport expert after several pints of lager said “Well look bud, the stuff MIGHT be seaweed, but it could also be the remnants of an alien pod that the Mcanns hatched from, which then proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that maddy could have been sold to elvis by slave trading aliens along with the rest of her family, but they might have only bought four pods with them to replace the whole family with, but I will only put my name to that exclusive expert opinion if you keep up your end of the bargain of a night with two of your topless models obviously”
Apparently this story has been confirmed from two independant sources as well, one being a tramp who confirmed it for the price of a burger and a 4 pack of carling, and the other being a whacked out junky found throwing up in the thames, both of whom claim to be very close friends of the family,,,,,,,and of elvis
So there ya go goony, how much more “factual” can things be?
Case closed

21 September, 2007 at 10:23 am #287932Apparantly now the saintly ones are prepared to take a lie detector test to prove they are innocent. They also appear to be trying their best to come up with various explanations as to how maddies hair, and apparantly it was a lot, came to be found in the hire car. Errrm, wasn,t this hair found in the well of the boot where the spare tyre was kept? I don,t know of many people who would transport clothes etc in the place where the spare typre was kept, do you? Their new PR man is a smooth talking smarmy git isn,t he? He,s right out of a cheesy 1970s, toothpaste advert he is. I half expect him to stand there and flash his pearly whites and then the colgate ring of confidence appears, FFS.

The couple believe its use as a “dumper truck” ferrying rotting meat, chicken carcasses and food scraps to nearby bins during the summer could also explain the excited reaction of specialist sniffer dogs when shown the car last month as part of a review of the case.

So in Portugal they use hire cars as dumper trucks?? Don,t they have dustcarts then? ffs, I,ve heard some shyte but I,ve never heard of hire cars, that people use on holiday, being used as dumper trucks. Did their new PR man think of that explanation?
21 September, 2007 at 11:28 am #287935It certainly seems that the McCanns (or rather their new smoothis PR spokesman) are desperately trying to come up with an assortment of explanations to explain away what seems to be a substantial amount of circumstantial evidence found in the hire car.
In addition to ”rotting meat” in the rubbish – to explain away the ‘smell of death’ found by the sniffer dog, they have had the children’s nappies in the boot of the car – to explain away the body fluids.
It seems that they have ferried numerous blood relatives in this car – to explain away the DNA found in the boot as well. …. and so it goes on. Everything is ‘explained away’ in less than convincing terms whilst the publicity machine grinds on.
Methinks they doth protest too much.
21 September, 2007 at 12:04 pm #287936Maybe its a typo, maybe what was actually said is that they used it as a “dump her” truck
