    pah and im not even on about the in colour version.. brian blessed refused to do that, as they saw it as an art form at first. im on about the black n white where ya had to look through a raspberry ripple wrapper to get colour !

    we had this ice cream man in Scotland, and he had a lisp… he used to go “do ye want rashpberry on that shun”… in the broadest accent Ive ever heard, one of my favorite childhood memories..

    I love a rashpberry nipple myshelf :lol:

    wasnt the globe cafe on the paisley road was it.. ( serious) .. i used to go as a bairn, and i went back as an adult and the same old guy still owned it. he went to school with my dad, so always asked after him. they had a wee sitty down bit too.probably a bookies now ;(

    aye .. a real sweetie shop.. but no this was on a very main paisley road west. down from Ibrox park. probably loads of them in glasgow then, with the italian influences post war. Even now ye get a braw italian meal in glesca :)
