So many attempts to belittle me in such a short space of time and why? Now if I didn’t have such a thick skin I could feel bullied by all this and there is the rub. Bullying takes many forms, often the people accused of bullying don’t even realise they are doing it, they just get caught up the moment and have that tunnel vision where all that exists is them and the words on the screen. They think that they are simply having the last word, or just speaking their minds like everyone else, or just “putting things right”. Or they just get caught up in the heat of the moment and get carried away.

The point is that we have all probably been bullied at some point in our lives and we have all probably been bullies at some point in our lives. We have choices. We can stand up to the people that are bullying at that time (I don’t think anyone is a bully all of the time), risking putting ourselves even more in the firing line; we can shrug and say “whatever, as long as they’re having a go at me they’re leaving some other poor soul alone” or we can refuse to tolerate it and just walk away.

I’ll end with a quote, and yes I am aware that it equally applies to me :wink:
