It’s the 21st Century, we’ll just bulldoze the whole house, anc’n’all into the swimming pool, chuck some bags of cement on top of it, smooth it over and use it as the foundation for a new drive thru burger bar.

course they can…anc, no wonder you have the bubonics, you have no clue as to how rats behave..there are (were?) enough of them in JC, so you have no excuse

I was sitting on the lavvy in Bolton once, and a rat popped its head through the floorboard. We both stared at ne another for a little while, then it decided it didn’t like me and popped back.

I should ahve protected myself, really, but I was taken by surprise.

In Leeds, I’m told rats run visibly on the pavements. They get through the cracks, you see..no dirty jokes please.

Well Im a Leeds lass scep, although I dont live there now… but I never saw rats on the pavements… not ever….

My worst experience of seeing rats was in the Windermere Hydro Hotel.. I was walking down the corridor to our room… carrying my daughter and my son was toddling beside me it was evening and I was going to get the kids ready for bed….. suddenly there in front of us were three rats scuttering along unperturbed by us… out for their evening stroll no doubt… needless to say I was not pleased… we only stayed there one night.
