So, Even Though In October 2014 First Eastern Counties Service X1 Was Split Into Two Sections It Still Has Remained The UKs Second Longest Bus Route. On The X1 Service Which Before 2014 Went From Peterborough Bus And Rail Station Travelled 123 Miles To Lowestoft Via Guyim Street – Terington St Johns – Wisbech Bus Station – King’s Lynn Bus Station – Dereham – Norwich Bus Station – Acle – Great Yarmouth Bus Station – Gorleston International and Lowestoft Bus Station Every 30 Minutes Which Used To take A Journey Time Of 5 Hours 16 Minutes And Of Which Because Of The Long Mileage The Service Had To be On tachograph Laws So Bus Drivers Could Not Travel The Whole Route Without Breaks However, The Route Since October 2014 Was Split Into Two Sections Where It Is Now Peterborough to Norwich Every 30 Minutes Still And Then At Norwich Bus Station Buses From Norwich To Lowestoft Every 20 Minutes. Even So Peterborough To Norwich Is Still A Heck of A Journey Taking 3Hrs 20Mins With Arrival And Departure Times At Wisbech And Kings Lynn Bus Stations So A 5 Minute Grace Period For Recovery time Maybe A Small Tea break Although Half The Time This Is Gone Either With running Late Or Sheer Passengers Taking That Boarding But It Is A Nice Route To Drive. All 23 Buses On The Route Have Air Conditioning, Heating For Winters, Tv Monitors Both Down And Up Stairs Which Broadcast Television Programmings As Well As Route Maping And Where You Are At That Time, Point To Point Announcements And Leather Seats With USB Ports Or Headphone Plugs.
Thumbs Up From Me lol !
