Looks like you’ve got a bit of a problem there, what version of windows are you running?
W2000 or W98?14 March, 2007 at 9:27 pm #264406I’ll bet it’s Windows 2000.
14 March, 2007 at 10:16 pm #264407When I use to be with Norton, It was always picking up system 32 virus type thingys.
Cant you do a roll back (cant remember the techy term!)

Rob… as you have Windows XP installed – why not just use the system restore facility.
You can find this if you click ”HELP and SUPPORT” on the ”START” menu. When the main Help screen (finally) opens look for the section on the right called ”Pick a Task” and the third one down should say ”Undo changes to your computer with System Restore”.
If you select this a new window opens up which will allow you to select a ”restore point”. This is a point some time in the past when all was well with your computer.
Select a time / date from the built in calendar that PRE-dates the issue you have (before March 14th ????) and click it. Your computer will then go through a ‘restore’ process, shut itself down and re-start at the selected date. Hopefully it ought to be in the state before you downloaded and installed the software that is causing you this problem.
