Broccoli

One Monday morning a store manager was doing the rounds in his supermarket when he noticed a woman rummaging through the freezer department. He walked up to her and asked if he could be of any assistance.

She replied “Yes please… i’m looking for the frozen broccoli”

The manager offered his appologies and said “I’m very sorry madam but we are completely out of broccoli but we have placed a fresh order and it will be be arriving on Thursday.

The woman thanked him and she left the store.

The next day the manager saw the same woman rummaging once again through the freezers so he approached her and once again offered his assistance. She replied “I’m looking for some frozen broccoli”.

The manager smiled and said to her “If you remember madam I did mention yesterday that we wouldn’t be getting another order of broccoli in till Thursday”.

She thanked him once again and left the store.

The following morning the manager walked up to the very same woman and asked her if there was anything in particular she was looking for in the freezers that she was searching through. She turned to him and said “I was just curious to see if you had any frozen broccoli”.

The manager looked bewilderingly at her and said “Listen madam… I would like to give you a small spelling test if I may”. He went on… “Spell ‘dog’ as in dogmatic”.

She replied “D O G”,

“Well done madam….. now spell ‘cat’ as in catastrophic”.

She replied… “C A T”.

Very good madam” beamed the manager. “Now spell ‘fu*ck’ as in broccoli”.

The woman looked confused and answered… “There is no ‘fu*ck’ in broccoli”.

The manager glared at her and growled… “AND THATS WHAT I’VE BEEN TRYING TO TELL YOU FOR THE LAST 3 BLOODY DAYS!!!!!
