I think deep down i have compassion.. But why do it for all to see

Why go into a chat room that is solely for insults

The amount that come into chat rooms full of b0ll0cks How many hand on heart in this place would believe if some one said there going to hang there selves

Would either think its a name changer or a complete c00nt

Suicide is a subject very close to my heart but what he did was stupid

Sunny i have a lot of respect for you and yes you are right , some very strange people register on chat boards and rooms. Sunny you are one of this boards most genuine honest people and I beleive you are true to yourself both on and off screen. You are right though he did do a strange thing really by going on to this site, maybe he found it and just wanted to let off steam……..who knows suns really?

like I say i have such a respect for you sunny and your very honest opinions, and while we are here ur support and kindness to me through difficult times too xxxx

Well I’ve read through all the posted stuff on depression and despair etc etc (above) and all very touching it is too.

But the plain fact is that this bloke frequented a chatroom / webcam room (whatever) that was specifically intended for insults and abuse. it wasn’t yer ”normal” type where he could have had a friendly natter with some tree hugging pals.

PATS hit the nail right smack bang on the head …. if he wanted assistance or a friendly shoulder etc he could have dialled the Samaritans. But oh no .. this clown had to go for the big ”I am” gesture didn’t he? Wouldn’t everybody REALLY feel sorry for him if he topped himself live on the internet?

Of course it is a tragedy for his children – (his (ex) wife was probably better off without him) – but then so is it a tragedy when a father has a fatal and unexpected heart attack or gets killed in a road traffic accident. Whilst the end result is tragically the same, at least they didn’t die in a pointless and futile gesture.

Sorry but I am right out of sympathy for this guy. He is a total loser and the pity of it all is that his final moments will probably make it onto YouTube for all to see.

I feel so sorry for his family, especially his children. Suicide always leaves so many questions unanswered which can haunt a family indefinitely.
My brother commited suicide and left no note or explanation as to why. We knew he suffered from depression but never realised he was suicidal. I was the last person to see him alive and never noticed anything unusual but I still question myself to this day. I had to watch my parents go through the grief of losing their son and watch them pop sleeping pills like smarties just so they could sleep for even a few hours. My mum never got over it.
I can also understand peoples feelings as to why this man chose to do it the way he did. Not only has it devastated his family but will probably have caused untold stress to people who witnessed it.
Selfish and cowardly? I honestly don’t think so. There is a good chance that he may well have only been considering taking his own life but with people egging him on, that may have been confirming what he himself thought. Depression is an awful illness and one that some people may never understand. We shouldn’t judge this man but instead feel sorry for those he left behind.

My very close friend’s dad had been a broken man for a few months,
and he had said to his so called best mate that he had been having suicidal
thoughts. His stoopid friend then went to his shed and gave him some rope, and said here
    hang yourself then.Which he did.

People need to be more aware of what they say,and how it affects others.

You are probably right PB , can you imagine kids at this mans children school passing on this to them?????????

I absolutely feel for this mans family and children, my freinds mum committed suicide when he was in her 20s and at 50 something she still wants answers and still grieves that her mum didnt talk to her.

we recently lost a young youth worker through suicide at work, we all knew she was ill and of course she didnt work for a long time once her depression was known, no one knows what kicked it off , she was a bright , articulate young lady who just became depressed with all sorts of demons haunting her and eventually she took her own life

We will have to agree to differ on this particular thread PB , who was it that said, I may not agree with what you say but will defend your right to say it?

We are all different thank goodness and I think commpassion and ‘tree huggers’ *your phrase lol* and *dont suffer fools gladly* people live side by side and thats how it should be , would be a very boring world if we all agreed wouldnt it ?

Despite all thats been said we do have to spare a thought for those children , who knows how this will affect them in the future?

Yes fair enough Cath, I can see your point on this, but maybe we aren’t so far apart in our views as may at first be apparent.

I’m delighted (and thankful) to be able to say that I have never known anybody who killed themselves. I’ve known quite a lot who have died through natural (and sometimes unnatural) circumstances – but never by their own hand.

That said, I can see that a person alone in the world with few if any friends and no family or dependants may get to the ”what’s the point of it all” stage and kill themselves. But I have a real problem with somebody who has a family (however dysfunctional) doing it. They leave behind them years of sadness and even despair. A parent’s first duty is to protect and nurture their children, so killing yourself when you have (particularly young) children is utterly unforgiveable.

And say what you will … this total arsehole doing it live on his webcam for all to see and gawp at simply defies description.
