I wish Sceptical would stick to topic and answer question posed to him. I remember posting an even longer view on the EU a few months back with his response of ” I will deal with this in a few days” yet no response of course and reverting to type putting immature caricatures up of May/Trump slithering around not answering anything directly.
As his main interests on the board seem to be foisting his unwanted attentions on women I’ll simplify it to baby language so he can answer without him getting distracted again:
Where is my xenophobic post Sceptical?
17 November, 2018 at 4:00 pm #1109387Now, Gerry, you’ve asked me a question and I’ve tried to answer it, if only because it wasn’t couched in the smash-face politics which you usually adopt.
More sippery mind games from you, you didn’t answer anything at all as usual and as usual lied and denied all knowledge of your previous accusations, you’ll never change.
Oh and Geoff, I’ve never given you permission to use my “real” name, use my board name Ge or don’t address me at all in future. OK.
I’ve always called you Gerry because everyone else calls you Gerry.
I have no idea whether it’s your real name or not. I assumed it wasn’t your real name.
Ge sounds really odd, so I’ll continue to call you Gerry while everyone else does. You no like, then give a name for everyone to call you and I’ll call you that . You still no like, make a complaint to Martin.
By the way, my real name is actually Marmaduke Bartholomew – we upper class toffs like to have two posh front names.
Well, always nice to see you popping into a serious thread. Ciao
17 November, 2018 at 4:07 pm #1109388Mr big Deal,
you are not yet the gruppenfuhrer of the board, when everyone jumps just because you want them to jump.
I had the painful task of doing some research on the ‘facts’ in your post (a lot of them have been xenophobic, but the one I said I’d answer).
ooooo, you are brainy
If I can be bothered to answer it I will, but the way you are acting I’m not answering it unless I can arrange to do so in a way that I don’t descend into the mire of your brilliant mind.
But I’ll answer it in my own time, Mr big Deal. That’s my prerogative – say what you like, but live with it
When you come to power, you can make me and everybody else jump then.

My position is not open.

Funny, I don’t remember calling it racist,
Mr big Deal,

You can complain to Martin that I’m not answering your posts when you want me to.
17 November, 2018 at 6:52 pm #1109399Has anyone actually read about the deal in any details?
No wonder the shower of brexi-fanatics here don’t want to think about what’s just happened, and to play games or live on dreamed-up figures from the Leave.EU or Britian First leaflets of two years ago.
This is a lot more serious than dreamed-up figures about EU murderers from Latvia etc.
One EU diplomat said they were terrified that it would be rejected by the Cabinet. It was a humiliation, he said.
Britain is now the laughing stock of Europe. Or do you think they’re all looking at us with sympathy and understanding??
And then, Barnier said to May “How many Brexiters does it take to change a lightbulb? One to promise a brighter future and the rest to screw it up!” Hahahahaha!
The liars and crooks who led us into this codswallop we are now finding ourselves in – a colony of the EU with arbitration mechanism to settle disputes based on the Ukrainian Civil War, with the EU Court of Justice having final say – have much to answer for!!
If the EU makes a deal with the US, we will have no say in the terms. Our interests won’t be taken into account, because we have no vote. But we’ll be paying money into the EU budget for quite a while – in some cases to 2064 – and this may go on for a lot longer than you think.
far, far worse than the position we have occupied inside the EU.
And it’s only now that the EU are going to start playing rough.
They can afford to. They’re the biggest trading bloc in the world. We were a leading country within them. now we’re on our own, bullied by an Ireland which was once kicked around by us.
If, if a referendum is held in the New Year – remember that.
17 November, 2018 at 7:19 pm #1109400so Brexit supporters are dishing out ” Britain first ” leaflets are they? You never change the record- same old rubbish day after day like Q minus the lol component.
17 November, 2018 at 9:05 pm #1109401IMHO I don`t believe this deal will go through. Zelda May will be leaving Whitehall and hopefully we can get somebody who can lead.
Rudeboy& Scep – it appears to me you too are both cock sure of yourselves, its almost flirtational your bickering. Maybe you can link up in speakers corner and have a smooch under the mistletoe.
Of the two personas, I prefer Scep – I still have the image of rudeboys old cat picture suggestive of his girth.

18 November, 2018 at 1:25 am #1109407This deal may well fall apart, and there is even the chance of a new people’s Vote if it does, though the odds are against this – it’s unlikely, for the moment. Time to reflect on what we are doing?
There was already a vote.
You lost.
And things have turned out rather oddly, haven’t they, drac??
We had another vote a year later, in 2017, and the government effectively lost.
The government is now in severe danger of falling apart. Today they were a minority government. minsters are resigning, the DUP has withdrawn its support, and so has Rees-Mogg, the Minster for the 18th Century.
If the Dancing Queen loses that vote next month, then everything, and I mean everything, is up in the air. Nothing is ruled out.
What the hell are you on, whatever drugs you’re on lower the dosage – how did the government “lose” in 2017 with another vote? I suppose EU Britain today is working well in your eyes- knife crime epidemic, food banks , waiting lists for doctors going into months and years waiting for housing.
I see what rudeboy is saying here.
