I logged on this morning and realised there would be none of thins usual early morning posts… which I used to look forward to reading .. of course they were often meant to provoke and stir us all up a bit… but he also gave some valid opinions to threads too… bringing his own special blend of controversy…
I for one miss him. To be honest Im not really sure why he was banned? Anyway Martin if you read this… please bring back thin.. without realising it he made the place here safer… he intervened when things got nasty and took the flack… he always gave better than he got so people shut up…. not a bad addition to forum boards :?

I know that some didn’t like him, and that a few unpleasant characters try to ban everyone they don’t like. Panda/Joker was one who specifically stated that he wants to ‘cleanse’ the boards of all elements which he defines as unhealthy (to him), but one person’s poison…
I’m not in favour of banning anyone – not even panda/Joker – but I’m particularly not in favour of banning thin. He had a sense of humour all his own, and the fact that some people couldn’t take it just added to it all.
Martin should perhaps take more care in finding out whether someone is just a victim of political shenanigans before banning them.

I have asked him why he was banned because I thought I may have missed a thread which got deleted whilst I was away in sunnier climes but apparantly not that either….
So maybe we should all guess why he was banned? :lol:
You can’t bring him back without letting the others back in.
So I say let it be a free for all again, its what the majority want (even if they will never say it out loud).
If Thin comes back, then the others should also be allowed back in.

I thought only 2 people had been banned, and one of those had already been banned once and come back in a different name. Were there more?Thin Cosy and Grinch.

Yes I agree Lucy…everyone should be allowed back if one person is allowed back
Doesn’t it rather depend on why each individual was banned?
