I’m not advocating a second referendum as yet, though I’ve learned never to rule anything out.
But it’s no the walk in the park that was promised.
The argument here isn’t about getting out or not.
The argument is about what we get out to. A Customs union, as Labour wants, or break all ties, as the right-wing Tories want.
Cloud cuckoo land, misleading and a red herring. A customs union will NEVER be agreed in parliament if it prevents the UK from negotiating independant trade deals with the rest of the world.

Tariffs directly affect prices.
They also manipulate prices though regulation.

How is the EU bullying us???
Again with the words in mouth thing, twisting what people say I said the EU are bullies, I said they have been deliberately making things difficult for us, but I quoted Italy and Greece, not us, or the fact they are actively suing 3 eastern European, poor countries, for millions because they refuse to accept more immigrants . I didn’t say they are just bullying us. I said they are Bullies
I have also NEVER said that you want a 2nd referendum !! please say where I said that ?

Personally I don’t think you take any of my opinions seriously lol I’m obviously not worth reading properly as if you did you wouldn’t make so many mistakes, you skim them, decide I’m ranting and move on quickly. Ge has far more in depth knowledge than me or anyone else so far on here, Jamie was patronised for her opinion beyond belief lol and I am just a ranter or living in Fantasy Island …. that’s fine ,,, as you once said to Q how come no one agrees with you ?? !! They may agree with your political stance, they just don’t agree with the way you express yourself, twisting and turning and misleading …… Shrugs …..
Moose you are far politer than me, but as soon as I read his response to you I knew he was up to his old tricks again and you can’t teach an old dog new tricks, well you can and I have, but just not in his case.
Your post didn’t come across as ranting whatsoever but that’s a litttle trick he plays on these boards which you may, or may not have noticed. By immediately suggesting you were ranting it dismissed what you had to say as unimportant and therefore not credible. It is a just way for him to keep control and dominate and impress the audience.
Apologies for being heavy but he irritates me that much. I can take or leave the boards I am not fussed either way and while he is on one of his funny episodes I think i’ll follow my own advice for a change and leave the sexist old pig to it.
I’m sorry Scep, truly, but i do think your attitude to these matters puts ppl off posting, you obviously are well read and have very strong opinions, you also obviously do many hours of research and quote people readily ,( sometimes from 1991,) , who a lot of people have never heard of, ( as you well know ) most of us just watch the news or listen to 5 live, before the footy comes on. It’s not rocket science. I think its people like you that actually stop people voting , normal, working people , they hear this mumbo jumbo , quotes from political speeches and polls, expert statements in the guardian, from years ago, basically rhetoric bullshit and they think wtf is he talking about ? maybe your peers have a clue, maybe not , maybe we are all fekkin eeeejits …. or maybe you are just a bit of a bully when it comes to this, and you don’t wish to discuss it with anyone as uniformed as your good self….
You basically give the basic working bloke / woman no credit to be clever enough to think for themselves without hearing your MESSAGE .. and if they still disagree, they are ranting or living in a fantasy world, maybe you should live a month in their world .
Maybe Scep you should take your debate and issues to a website suited … Obviously here no one is on the same intellectual level….but be prepared for answers in far more depth than you deliberately try to blind people with
big fish little pond ….

Others are certainly finding chatsites whihc are less nasty than jc, though I’ve yet to hear my name mentioned as a cause.
If people don’t want me to post, they should say so. Apart from gerry and your good self, nobody else has said this, but you can always ask martin to give me a polite tap on the shouler. martin has banned people from this site, even recently. If he bans me, I won’t complain and won’t return
