You won’t see any politicians who sell chemicals for chemical weapons to despots in the Middle East, wandering around with the ‘soft porn’ Daily Star under their arm.
That’s for sure.

Tory regime sells chemicals used to make chemical weapons to Syrian regime in the middle of a ‘civil war’ and apparently it is because they were for “windows”.

Politicians don’t sell chemicals. Private companies do.
Private companies can also sell chemicals like “potassium fluoride and sodium fluoride” for “metal finishing of aluminium profiles used in making aluminium showers and aluminium window frames”.

If you read the link, which you haven’t, the licenses for those chemicals require government approval.
“The Business Secretary, Vince Cable, will today be asked by MPs to explain why a British company was granted export licences for the dual-use substances for six months in 2012 while Syria’s civil war was raging and concern was rife that the regime could use chemical weapons on its own people.”

An Alfie tangent. Throws various, whatever Sceptical described it as, into the mix in the hope he gets a bite and it avoids the real issue. You carry on Alfie.
It alters nothing. The UK sold Syria the chemicals they use to make chemical weapons and quoted by May to bomb Syria without parliamentary approval, totally bypassing democracy.
